Positive: Great place to stay, in a area that does not have a lot of places, nor a lot of places to eat. Lovely staff, and great facilities for breakfast in the morning. Right on the Francigena path, so easy to get going in the morning.
Negative: No remote for the ductless, and it was a very warm night. The mosquitoes were out, so could not leave windows open - I wish they had had a portable fan to move air around, as it was a bit warm and stuffy.
Summary: A great place to stay, with great staff and good breakfast facilities. You will need to find other meals, but there is a

Positive: Helpful and welcoming host, amazing garden. Our air conditioning worked well, and the room was clean and well arranged. We went for an adventurous morning walk with our dog up to the woods, where there are the remains of a Norman(?) castle. There was a small festival in the village for Mary of the snow, in August!

Positive: This is a really great place to stay. We were a little early but the room was ready and the host was very welcoming. The upstairs room that we were in had a terrific view of the window. Everything was very clean and modern. As walkers on the Francigena we were able to rinse and dry some of our clothes on the terrace which was a bonus. The apartment is set in a private garden which was beautiful.
