Positive: Location is good! The environment is nice! If you are staying in Uppsala for a while, this is the place you are looking for!
Negative: While it is a good perk to have a couple of great restaurants right below the flat, they will extend their opening hours to midnight on Saturday. The music might be a problem for a light sleeper (I can't sleep until the music stops at about 1:00am).

Positive: - The apartment was perfect for a short stay. Checkin was supereasy. - Located in a nice area, 15 min walking from the train station and right above a really good Italian restaurant (Basilico). Supermarket is also a short walk away. - The kitchen was fine, bathroom a bit dark but everything worked and we liked the shower. - Lovely view over the botanical garden and close to the water! - We had a late flight home and were able to stay in the apartment a few hours past checkout, which was really amazing. Thanks again!
Negative: - The small bedroom didn't have a nightstand or nightlight, would have been an easy/cheap upgrade. The curtains were a bit shabby and falling apart, didn't keep out very much light so bring a sleeping mask if you're sensitive to that! - The walls are thin and you can hear the sounds from the street below so earplugs are also recommended. The beds were basic but fine if it's only for a few nights.
Summary: Great value apartment for a short stay!

Positive: this is a super little apartment. It was excellent value for money. Very clean and comfortable -- just what we wanted. This is a great place to stay.
Negative: it was a little noisy in the evenings with people walking in the street but that's easily fixed with some earplugs.

Positive: The apartment was spacious, airy, sunny, well-equipped, secure, and had a view over the gardens which was a delight. Location was great.
Negative: It was above two cafes and there was a little noise until they closed, and the stairs up were narrow and possibly difficult for anyone older or carrying heavy luggage.

Positive: This is a self-catering facility. I bought food from the nearby ICA and COOP. The location is beautiful and very central for restaurants, clothing and curiosities. It is also very pretty. Ours was a work-related trip with some holidaying over Christmas. The proximity to various university buildings is ideal. For our young daughter, parks are also close by. And if you're stuck, there are at least 2 cinemas nearby as is the music and play house.
Negative: More extra bedding: quilts or duvets would help: some nights are colder than others and not all guests are from cold countries. Please do have a notice about the quality of drinking water from the taps (it's ok to drink water from the tap) as this saves buying heavy bottled water at the outset. While there is washing up liquid, please supply more and also a clean wash cloth and sponge. The supply of crockery and cooking ware was just right for 3 guests. Also, please do supply visible agents for the shower.
Summary: The stay in Linne Appartment was wonderful: we will return in the future.
