Positive: The staff were all very accommodating and kind. Despite the language barrier in some cases, everyone we came in contact with was willing to solve any issue we had. I appreciate the feeling that they wanted us to relaxed and be taken care of.

Positive: The pool and bed were great. Bathroom looked lovely. Super friendly staff with exceptional service. Complimentary shuttle to Lio Beach was good as there is nothing nearby.
Negative: The place looks lovely at first glance, but is built very cheaply. Plastic bathroom tiles, fake books on the bookshelf, door that won't lock or unlock easily, light switches and fan switches difficult to find and operate. Place is far from anything. There's lots of dogs roaming around that bark at you. All the villas are seperated by thin walls and you can hear the neighbours in the villa next door. You have the illusion of privacy, but can't get comfortable enough to enjoy it due to proximity to others. There was a water leak in the bathroom throughout our stay. Hot water wasn't great. When we arrived the pool pump had been left on, causing loud flushing sounds every minute for hours. They turned it off after I brought it to their attention. For the price I expected a certain level of finish which just wasn't there.
Summary: Lovely but needs a few minor improvements to level up to its price range.

Positive: We had the most incredible 4-night stay at Lio Lio Suites — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. The villas are brand new and so thoughtfully designed. Ours was absolutely beautiful, with stunning interiors that felt modern, calm, and luxurious without being over the top. The space was generous, and every detail felt intentional. Each villa has its own private pool, which was perfect for cooling off and relaxing during the hot days, along with a comfortable outdoor daybed that we used constantly. One of the standout features was the shower — honestly a highlight of the stay. It’s surrounded by lush plants on either side with skylights above, making it such a peaceful, spa-like experience every time. Breakfast was served in our villa each morning and was always fresh, healthy, and delicious — such a treat to enjoy it in complete privacy by the pool. The location is something to be aware of: it’s not directly near the beach or El Nido town. You’ll need to take a tricycle (around 10 minutes to Lio Beach or 15 minutes to El Nido town), where most of the restaurants are. That said, the staff made everything so easy — they were always warm, accommodating, and happy to call a trike for us whenever we needed. For a convenient option nearby, Daanan Cafe next door is fantastic for lunch or dinner. We especially loved grabbing takeaway and enjoying it by our private pool — highly recommend their sandwiches. Overall, this stay was perfect. Peaceful, beautifully designed, and incredibly relaxing. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat — it was one of the highlights of our trip.

Positive: We loved how the suite blended with nature. My favorite feature was the rain shower with surrounding nature. We also loved the kindness and attentiveness of the staff.
Negative: There was a loud noise that would sometimes emanate from the pool. I would report it and the staff would fix it.

Positive: Wide variety of breakfast options. Note that location requires a 10 minute tricycle ride to town centre. Impeccable service. Every single staff member was kind, helpful and accommodating to all of our needs. Cannot praise the team at Lio Lio suites enough. Gorgeous room includes water purifier and excellent wifi - uncommon luxuries in El Nido.
Negative: Location is a bit out of the way from the bustling town centre which is the hub for island hopping tours and nightlife. We gladly trade this minor inconvenience for the peace and quiet and beautiful facilities and service on offer at Lio Lio Suites.
