Little Bird Cottage is situated in a quiet, private rainforest grove on Tamborine Mountain. It's character both inside and out is French/English Country with the added romantic atmosphere generated by its secluded rainforest setting.
An excellent place to unwind and is within walking distance to Gallery Walk, the Botanical Gardens, National Parks and numerous quality eating venues. Separated by Rainforest trees from the main house this cottage provides guests with privacy and tranquility.
The space
Little Bird Cottage is a stand alone cottage surrounded by rainforest trees and a number of Macadamia trees which provide guests during most of the year the opportunity to fossick for those delicious nuts. The cottage has a full kitchen providing guests the opportunity to enjoy their own home cooked meals.
The cottage is situated more than 100m from the road and is surrounded by National and Environmental Parks. It is truly a unique spot providing a unique experience of quietness and closeness to the natural wonders of Tamborine Mountain. A second bedroom with two beautifully appointed single beds and window bench seat adds further to the unique experience found at this hideaway cottage.
The two most commonly used words by guests are peaceful and relaxing.

Guests access the cottage by a key lock and receive a mud map via AirBNB message prior to arrival.

Bed Organisation
If 5 guests they have choice of either master bedroom and queen sofa or master bedroom and two single beds. The single beds can be placed side by side.

Summary: The cottage was perfect, very clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The hosts Meredith and Chris made us very welcome with hot bread and brownies on arrival. We enjoyed the fire pit at night listening to nature at its best. Even pademelons came visiting which was amazing for our UK friends. We hopefully will be back in the future. Summary: We had a lovely few days staying in Chris and Meredith’s story book cottage for a girls getaway. We arrived to homemade brownies and freshly baked sourdough bread which were delicious! The cottage has everything you could need for a comfortable and cosy stay.

Summary: This property is absolutely gorgeous 4 city girls wanting to disconnect from their busy lives for 3 days..,,and this location and property certainly did just that! Cant recommend this property enough Meredith and Chris the owners were just delightful not in your face at all just friendly informative and welcoming (home made brownies and freshly baked damper bread) seriously spoilt. We will be back!

Summary: The prefect cottage in a lovely garden setting. When we arrived we were greeted warmly by Merridith with bread not long from the oven and were farewelled personally by Peter when it was time to pack and return home.

Summary: This was a little getaway for longtime friends to catch up. Meredith and Chris’ oasis was a perfect place to stay being halfway between Brisbane and Gold Coast. The sweet cottage and its location made us feel a million miles away. Meredith and Chris were the ultimate hosts. Can’t wait to revisit some time in the near future

Summary: Meredith and Chris are amazing and very hospitable hosts. The cottage was the perfect location to rest, relax and unwind from busy everyday life. Very spoilt receiving home made brownies, jam and sourdough bread. Appreciated all those extra things like butter curls, freshly baked goods, fridge and pantry items and firewood. We felt very relaxed and welcome at little bird cottage.
