Positive: Nice place, excellent location, good heating, kitchen facilities, outside area, smart TV, easy access, laundry facilities.
Negative: Front fence was too tall for any of us to easily reach the gate lock from the outside. Leather couch is nice but super slippery so not actually user friendly.

Positive: Location - so handy to everything Layout of the house Linen and bedding was clean, warm and comfortable. Laundry facilities (although an operators manual for the washing machine would have been handy) Outdoor area
Negative: Blind on roof window in the upstairs double bedroom was not sufficient to block out light (broken). Couch in the living room was quite uncomfortable. Looks cool but not very comfy.
Summary: We had a really enjoyable short stay in Methven. The house was comfortable, clean and practical.

Positive: Modern and nicely decorated, very comfortable, board games for the kids & magazines. Nice outdoor space, which gets great sun - would be lovely in summer. Great Location—30-second walk to the pub! But still quiet and private. Plenty of on-street parking, as well as two parking spaces in the driveway. Lovely neighbourhood—quick 2-minute walk to the playground and centre of town—ideal. Opuke Hot Pools are a must-visit, 15-minute walk or 2-minute drive from the chalet!
Negative: Stairs might be a bit of a hazard for younger kids; there was no gate at the top of the stairs, and the kid's room door opens to the top of the stairs.
Summary: Great Methven Stay, family friendly location with all the necessities; makes for a relaxing trip!

Positive: Location great, the house was awesome for our family of five, and had a fantastic amount of cooking equipment. Nice outdoor area with BBQ and having two toilets was great. We really enjoyed the property.
Negative: Whist the pillows were lovely and quite new and 'plump', they are far too fat and not practical for kids (or adults), the kids had to sleep with the decorative small square pillows which are far thinner.
Summary: Great location, great BBQ area, good parking, nice place for any time of year, heat pump was awesome
