Summary: The cabin was exactly the peaceful setting we were looking for. We spent most of our time in the sun room reading or puzzling while enjoying the sight and sound of the Escanaba River. The gas fireplace with thermostat control worked great to keep us cozy during cool nights. Fish Fry at the Rusty Nail was exceptional.

Summary: This cabin was very clean and well maintained. Sitting in the rocking chair with my feet up on the ottoman sipping a cup of tea with my dog asleep on my lap is my idea of a great vacation. The view of the river from this rocking chair was just icing on the cake. My spouse and I have stayed in many of these vacation rentals that advertise as pet friendly only to arrive and find a long list of rules that make it seem otherwise. For the first time it felt as though my dogs were truly welcome. Thank you.

Summary: My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights! We loved every single thing about it. Decorated so cute! We really didn’t need to bring anything but food, literally. The owners are amazing people. We loved getting to meet them. They really were there for anything we needed! The privacy they provided to us was top notch. I already reserved for next year, that is how much we enjoyed our stay!

Summary: We loved our stay there we brought the two German shepherds and enjoyed reading in the hammock the fire pit and the sun room views next to the river. Would definitely come back!
