THE SPACE
Nestled in a quaint neighborhood between the Village and the Beach, Little Gingerbread Cabin is homey and charming full of family heirlooms. Main level has a full XL size bedroom and access to bathroom with combination tub/shower. Upstairs is a king bed in a loft, and a second bathroom on that level. You will definitely enjoy the rocking chair front porch for relaxation after a full day at the beach or shopping in the village. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a drip coffee maker. Off the family room is a screened in back porch.
Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

Summary: My husband and I loved our stay at this cabin! It was cozy, clean, charming and wasn’t a bad drive from the beach. We enjoyed the front porch and appreciated the washer/dryer. The only thing that could have helped would have been beach towels, as we flew from out of state and the towels on property weren’t allowed to be used as beach towels. Otherwise, though, a delightful stay! Definitely recommend!

Summary: The place was nice. Quiet neighborhood, dead-end street so no traffic issues. We were there in Jan/Feb so it was off season, not sure what it would be in the high season but with that said, it was about 5 minutes to the Pier Village and the beaches were not far either by car. The cabin had a fully equipped kitchen, kitchen table, nice parlor, tv, screened-in back porch, parking in front and porch swing. It had a little something for all. We were very comfortable and felt safe there. See you next year!
