Come visit our tiny mountain cabin with 1 bedroom and a loft that sleeps 5 people comfortably. It is nestled in a wooded lot with access to many amenities! It is located atop Lookout Mountain in Menlo, Ga. The property is located on the East Fork of the Little River and Lake Lahusage. You will have access to swimming, floating in the lazy river, hiking, kayaking, fishing, skiing, paragliding and enjoying the outdoors. Enjoy your morning coffee listening and watching the wildlife from the screened in porch. Enjoy access to a common area with a guest house, pool, hammocks, and a fire pit. Within a short driving distance is Cloudland Canyon State Park, Little River Canyon National Preserve, & Desoto Falls or enjoy driving the Lookout Mountain Scenic Parkway which is 93 miles of breathtaking scenery through 3 states. Mountain life can be as peaceful or as active as you would like. We are also located within the ABC triangle of 1.5-2 hrs from Atlanta, Birmingham, and Chattanooga. Summary: We were looking for a peaceful getaway close to home after our daughter’s wedding. Little River Hideaway fit the bill perfectly. The community is a hidden gem just off the highway. Each cabin is on a private wooded lot so you don’t see many people around. We loved playing games on the screened in porch, relaxing in the pool, and fishing in the river. My sons tried out the brand new inflatable kayak and paddled down to the lake. I hope we are able to return! I would highly recommend this little retreat!

Summary: This was a precious tiny cabin that was secluded, clean, and perfect for the occasion. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to stay a night or two in Mentone.

Summary: This tiny house is a beautifully crafted cabin in a well designed tiny house community on the Little River. We had a lovely stay - enjoyed the environment, its proximity to Mentone and the quiet. Though the kitchen was well equipt with pots, pans and appliances the only consumable item in the cabinet was salt and pepper. So if you plan to cook, or use the grill, you need to bring everything you need.

Summary: My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary and wanted some time together alone to "reconnect". This tiny house cabin was perfect. Even though there are other cabins around, we felt alone. It was well-maintained. It had ample supplies. The area had plenty of hiking and stores and restaurants. We loved it. As a pastor I am always on the lookout for places to recommend for the couples in my church. This place will be at the top of my list.

Summary: A truly wonderful place for respite. My only complaints are the fridge light burned out while we were there, the AC in the Queen bedroom made a loud scraping noise which made it difficult to sleep. Lastly, the bathroom sink drained very slowly and the piece that stops up the sink to allow it to fill up was broken. There was also no sponge with which to wash dishes.
