Lovingly & beautifully refinished house, Victorian decor with opulent fabrics & ornamentation - 100% Instagram worthy around every corner -Host very responsive and attentive, offering local recommendations for dining, tourist locations -Great location, walking distance to Glenfiddich, and close to several other distilleries, very close to grocery store -Parking available on street right in front of house -Amazing sleep! mattress and linens just as good/better than luxury hotel -Spacious bedroom, spacious bathroom (lots of room for luggage storage), welcome bath balm - large clawfoot tub (for those who have been in B & Bs with the bed up against a wall - choose this instead) -Additional towels by request, very good water pressure -Netflix, tv in bedroom, wardrobe with hangers, drawers for clothing, hairdryer with dressing table & mirror (necessary but rare to find both close together in our experience) -Kettle, instant coffee, tea, milk available; welcome snack, water bottles on arrival - small minifridge - Breakfast options: eggs, cereal, fruit, croissants, jams, cheeses, meats, yogurt, juice - all served on china in common dining area -Overall very clean and well maintained. Be advised: -no lift/elevator but host is available to help carry luggage upstairs to room -room temperature is lower than North American average - host will adjust -unlike hotel, late night showers not commonly available- address your needs with host -body wash only - no shampoo (although we did not ask, so probably would have been supplied if we had)

Positive: Our room was gorgeous and beautifully organised. Andy was an extremely gracious and generous host. He made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to look after us. Even made us a breakfast package because we had to leave early on our last morning. His attention to detail is sublime. Even remembered an apple and an orange juice was our preference.
