Livin’ the Dream is located on one of the most private fully-fenced Lakeview lots at The Lookout. It is adjacent to a beautiful grassy park - the perfect place to kick around a soccer ball & play yard games and only a few houses away from the neighborhood lakefront access. Enjoy incredible up lake & panoramic mountain views throughout the house's interior, expansive wrap-around deck & covered porches. The playground, swings, Hilltop pool, and pickleball courts are just a short walk up the stairs across the street, and the Vineyard Pool is a short, flat walk down the sidewalk.
The home's main floor is open-concept, equipped with a gas fireplace and Restoration Hardware & Pottery Barn furnishings. The 15ft NanaWall of glass doors fully opens the living room and connects the large covered deck with a Weber grill & outdoor dining table with lounge seating for 12 around the gas fire-pit and two built-in heaters overhead. The outdoor entertaining space also includes an extra wide wrap-around covered porch where you can sit and watch the kids play in the park or relax and enjoy the lake views. The main level deck has stairs down to the lower level patio where you’ll enjoy the large private hot tub, outdoor ping-pong table, and an expansive fully-fenced yard with four chaise lounges and another built-in fire-pit with Adirondack seating for 6 offering incredible up lake views.
The kitchen is fully stocked to prepare a quick snack or large family meals. For your convenience, Keurig and drip coffee makers and an ice maker, Vitamix, and CrockPot are provided. The dual-fuel range also offers an air fryer function making quick meals as easy as being at home. There is seating for eight at the dining table and three barstools on the island.
Upstairs you’ll enjoy the expansive up lake views from the primary suite & private balcony with comfortable king beds and built-in closet systems in every bedroom. All bedrooms offer Smart TVs with streaming services and are beautifully decorated with RH, Serena & Lily, and Pottery Barn furnishings with luxurious linens and comfortable inner-spring mattresses.
The lower level offers a private king bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The kids will love the built-in bunks in the media room with individual lights in each bunk and the Xbox One for gaming. The house has various outdoor activities, including sports balls, a cornhole, a wagon, a cooler, and board games.
The paved driveway accommodates one large vehicle, with two additional street parking spots directly in front of the home and an EV outlet on the house for your convenience to charge your electric vehicle.
Livin’ the Dream does NOT allow pets; however, the owners have a dog that does stay in the house occasionally.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful home, perfectly fit for two families with older kids. Lots of space for everyone to sprawl - outdoor spaces weren't usable because of the snow, but that didn't cause any issues for our group. The community is very family-friendly and we all thoroughly enjoyed the pool Glow Party. As mentioned in other reviews, the dishwasher is hardly functional and does not do a good job of cleaning dishes. Unfortunate when you're on vacation and doing dishes for 10 people. The disposal didn't work either. Also, we were surprised we couldn't access the garage. Perhaps I missed that note when making the booking? Finally, the front door would not latch properly to lock. We notified the front office of all of this so hopefully it's not an issue for future guests. Still would definitely stay here again. Would appreciate if the rental office didn't text home listings/ownership opportunities throughout our entire stay.

Reviewer Comments: Pros: location, grassy field next door was great for kids to play in, high quality plates/utensils, stocked with the essentials, kid-friendly ware as well. Nice selection of board games.Cons: Unique to cold months but Ping Pong table is outside under deck (not in garage), too cold to take advantage of in the winter time. At the time we stayed, house didn't have a blender or grater.

Enough room for everyone, and the downstairs living room with bunk beds was a life saver. the small kids loved the built in bunk beds and with the railings on the top bunks felt safe with the kids playing on them. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the dishwasher. If you use the dishwasher make sure you wash the dishes first, if there is any food on them that food will still be there when the dishes come out. Everything else was great.

Summary: We enjoyed our 6 night stay in this home with our family during a family reunion in Chelan. It is beautifully appointed -white and bright with a “beach” feel. The kitchen is supplied for virtually all your cooking needs. The Pebble Ice maker was a huge hit with our family! The wrap around patio has comfortable seating on the upper deck and was a wonderful gathering spot day or night. Any concerns/questions we had were rapidly addressed by the management staff. The home is next to a small grassy area which worked well for several family gatherings during our stay (chairs and tables can be rented from the office). We’ve had numerous family reunions in several states over the years, but by far, this was the best location for finding large, modern homes for rent that served the needs of families of varying sizes. Lake Chelan is spectacular, there are loads of water activities and the town is charming. We’d gladly go back!

Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Living the Dream and the whole reason I chose this one was the deck and huge back yard with amenities. So I was annoyed when we go to sit on the top deck to watch the sunset and the fire pit doesn’t work. Customer service was great and came right over but they couldn’t fix it. Then after dinner we decided to enjoy the back yard fire pit and the jacuzzi, and none of the string lights worked. We called the office again and they came out and couldn’t get the lights to work either. So both nights we sat by the fire and jacuzzi in the dark. I thought the people in the office were rather lovely and tried to help, but how do you rent a place for the weekend and major things aren’t working ? We spent a ton on money to enjoy things in the dark. To be honest I was very disappointed to say the least.
