Positive: Excellent REWE grocery store right next door. We could make quick small meals in the kichenette in our room. Location very near the river makes for a lovely place to walk. The whole city is fantastic for walking.
Negative: Access to the U-Bahn was a bit of a walk - about 12 minutes to the Goetheplatz station.

Positive: Great location, beautiful river walk along the Isar into the city nice comfortable apartment .. close to the Supermarket for self catering. Good choice of restaurants in the Glockenbach area
Negative: Nothing in particular .. all good .. air-con was a little bit temperamental, but overall not many negatives. I have stayed at the Princess Elisabeth many times and never had a bad stay

Positive: The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. There is a good-sized supermarket right next door which is super handy. There are good restaurants within walking distance.
Negative: There is no air conditioning in the room. After a long day visiting museums and walking around the parks in Munich, it would have been nice to hop on the metro to return to the hotel. Unfortunately, the metro is quite a long walk away when you are tired and it’s hot outside.

Positive: Everything. Classy and cosy hotel, friendly staff, quiet, clean, kitchenette, window could also open as a door, walking distance to shops and train station. Lovely supermarket right next to the hotel. Was close enough to walk back from the university.

Positive: The room was cozy and quiet, whichnis important for a light sleeper like me. The hotel has that rarest of things - doors that shut quietly, so you don't hear the din of everyone departing their rooms in the morning. The wee kitchenette was small, but good for preparing some light meals. The bed was comfortable and staff was able to accommodate my request for feather-free bedding. There were a couple of odd things with the room that the staff were helpful in resolving.
Negative: The safe never worked. I mentioned it to the staff twice, and they said an engineer had looked at it. But it still never worked so I stopped mentioning it and had to carry my passport with me every day.
