Launch your boat, canoe, or kayak from our recently built boat ramp located onsite. Moor up to four boats on 200 feet of bulkhead and enjoy the calm waters of upper Pungo Creek or the wild adventure of the Pamlico River. Experience a place where nature still runs wild as you discover the best fishing in North Carolina. The kids will love catching crabs and eels in the canal with the pots we provide for your enjoyment. From our back yard you dont even need a boat to catch flounder.
Not a sportsman? Let Belhaven be the first stop on a fascinating trail of history, culture, and the quiet enjoyment of nature. Self guided driving tours will take you to museums, lighthouses, historic sites, theaters, gardens, parks,and wildlife refuges. Explore the art galleries and distinctive gift shops in historic downtown Washington and return for a wonderful meal at local restaurants.
At the end of the day, barbecue your catch on a large Kenmore grill on the patio, relax in a Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom, or join your party around a large cable TV to watch the game. The kitchen is fully equipped and all linens and blankets are provided to ensure that your stay will be comfortable and relaxing.

May 2014 we added an onsite boat ramp for boats up to 21 feet in length and up to 24 inch draft. Water depth at ramp varies from 1 to 3 feet depending on the wind tide.

Lizzy's Landing is reopened as of June 13 2019. The backyard landscaping renovation is now complete. Lawn is back in, a picnic table built into an old stump, and a new large fire pit have been added. In 2020 the new trek deck was installed and the railing systems were also upgraded. A new Kayak rack has been placed by the boat ramp making launching and clean up easier. We still have two kayaks and one canoe for our guests use.

Summary: Awesome location for anyone wanting access to the water!!! Private boat ramp, bulkhead approximately 100 feet long on the sound. This property should be 5 stars except for the numerous rules / requirements that they have ... more than any other VRBO property I have rented. On top of that, no trash receptacle on the property so you have to take it home or to the local dump.

Summary: Second time for us at Lizzy’s Landing. Best place we found so far from Maine to Florida that covers our interests and needs, seafood quiet and small boat friendly waters. Fishing is good for those who try. House and property are perfect and well kept and in a great location with friendly surroundings. We plan on returning as long life allows.

Summary: Spent some time with my best friend who has terminal cancer. Did a little fishing, but basically hung out, talked, and enjoyed the very peaceful setting. House was as advertised, comfortable and clean.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this very nice home on a canal off Pungo Creek near Belmont, NC. The house was quite clean and comfortable, with all appliance amenities. There were two bedrooms that we as a couple did not use, so the house is suitable for a larger group. Two kayaks and a canoe are provided, and the length of the canal is only 100 yards or so, which provides easy access to Pungo Creek. There is also a small boat launch on the property for boats 18 feet or less by best estimate. There are good restaurants in Belmont, especially Spoon River, a farm to table operation that I would rate 5/5.

Summary: My husband and I, our two year old daughter and another couple stayed at Lizzies Landing for a weekend fishing excursion, and it did not disappoint! The house is spacious, has everything you need and is kid friendly. :) Walking to the backyard straight to our boat and immediately be in great fishing territory. Our daughter even caught her very first fish. Robyn is a wonderful host, and we will be back again.
