Positive: Host was friendly, my son enjoyed playing with griff who was super friendly. Super close to tesco. Modern kitchen and rooms. Would return definitely.
Negative: Loved everything about our stay truly. However the shower was the only let down. Needed an adjustable shower head.

Positive: The view! Amazing! Given the heatwave, the fact we were in shade from 4pm! And the gorgeous neighbours of Donkeys and sheep! The staff were fabulous! We had a couple of minor issues with telly ... but staff quick to respond and sort. Everyone friendly and went above and beyond! Also a perfect spot for adventures in NW Wales and Anglesey. Highly recommend.
Negative: The 2 cockerels at 3.38am starting a conversation!!! 🤣 ... but, it's a working farm! So, slightly annoying, but understandable and ... after 1st night you zone out!

Positive: Everything in the lodge was exceptionally equipped . Nothing was missed . Well done !!!! Refurbished (2025) kitchen not shown on photos . Refurbished bathroom not shown on photos . Lovely views , shrouded in cloud and rain during our stay . Spacious balcony . Donkeys - no llamas , ducks , and other animals mentioned .
Negative: The children's playground right outside all the lodges , that is not shown on any photos . Especially as the only kids were from the campsite not from the lodges or pods that encircled it. Ffestiniog Railway kids slide RIGHT in front of lodge ,not shown on photos . Picture of lodge shows gate on terrace . Not there in reality . Used chairs to block dog wandering. Another lodge is now next to it . Not shown on photos . No sign for Reception unless arriving in Campsite . Assumed it was Shop. Signage for campsite disappeared in Waunfawr , just when it was necessary . Be aware , site is isolated . Mini market on site is not a mini market . Nearest petrol and supermarket is 5 miles away , and the road from the site is very very single track . Pub 20 mins away by walking , opens at 3pm . Who new ??? 4am cock crowing from neighbours poultry .

Positive: This property has an excellent location for hiking, it’s extremely peaceful and very cozy inside. Loved seeing the donkeys out the window and looking out at the mountains! Very well equipped kitchen and lovely little shop on site and the staff were really lovely and helpful. Will definitely come again!

Positive: The location is fabulous feels very remote but is actually only a few minutes drive to caernarfon. Beddgelert is a 20 minute drive in the other direction and is a must visit little village. The Lodge is not luxurious but really comfy and cosy with amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
Negative: Only a couple of small gripes. The TV would only play channel 5 channels 🤣 And the bathroom door was a pain to shut... very stiff ( as I said only minor stuff)
