Positive: The view was beautiful. Room clean. Bed was comfortable. Microwave and refrigerator worked well. Room on the first floor due to mother being unable to climb stairs.
Negative: Air conditioner extremely loud. Unable to sleep well, too hot first two nights to turn it off. No other room to transfer to, no repair man/weekend. Two queen beds for family stay, but only two chairs for table. Hot water stuck open, unable to adjust. Had to turn hot water on at sink to make it tolerable for bathing. No elevator.

The location is also excellent—close to the river, which made it convenient and enjoyable to explore the area. Overall, a great place to stay.

Positive: We had a good amount of space for the price we paid. The staff was very nice and helpful. And pets were allowed. The view behind the hotel is AMAZING
Negative: The rooms had carpets which unfortunately fleas were in the rooms not horrible but my puppy did have some fleas on her. And wall sockets weren't screwed to the wall properly. Shower tiles need repaired. Some of the beds were kinda hard and could use better pillows.

Positive: The river view, the sound of the water. It's so peaceful. Beautiful area and close to all things Cherokee and the Smoky Mountain Nat'l park. I enjoyed my stay better last year than this time around. The room was not as cozy and needed some repairs. Excellent WIFI. Fabulous staff, so calm and just great positive vibes. So kind, welcoming and pleasant. Fridge, micowave. AC worked.
Negative: Funky locks on the doors, not sturdy, difficult to get locked especially on the deck. Room needs some repairs, minor TLC and patching over the holes in the bathroom wall. Someone doesn't know how to find studs to hang towel racks. I sympathize. Obvious leak issue above the bed that has the ceiling dipping and the wall behind the bed warped, bubbling. What's growing under there and in that ceiling from all the moisture? Fridge had two cans of mountain dew in the freezer that had exploded. There's only one low watt lamp or the bright as the sun ceiling light. With some TLC, this place would be fantastic. With a ton of money, it would be phenomenal. It was just ok. The river was the star of the show here.
