Positive: Pleasant rural location and good facilities in the room.

Negative: Restaurant closed despite phoning before booking to check it would be open. Staff all went home in the evening and no staff available in the morning. Breakfast “left in the room “ was very poor. Just packeted croissants etc.

Summary: Good location but check that the restaurant will be open if you need to eat!

Positive: The place was beautiful, thoughtfully restored with clear care and attention to detail. You can tell a lot of passion went into the work.

Negative: The staff was unable to communicate in English, which made communication a bit tricky. I understand it’s a remote location, but for a hotel it would really help if at least one person spoke basic English to assist international guests.

Positive: The Junior Suite was really nice and confortable. We’ve got a small bed for our 2 years old kid without asking. Quality and organization is perceivable in the details especially if you think this is not an “hotel” but more a restaurant. Very quiet place, literally in the middle of nowhere, which we liked as a small family for walks and quiet nights.

Negative: Nothing in particular for the owner. This comment is more for the guests. La Locanda Bepa has multiple panels saying “NO SMOKING”: well, sometimes it seems difficult to people to even understand such simple rules. Somebody in this, otherwise perfect building, smoked in the rooms ruining the remarkable work done by the staff.

Negative: Access is difficult because it is out of town - while it was said to be 8 km from Ostiglia the drive is much longer(over 20km) as you must take roads that do not go directly there.
