Positive: The hotel is in a green and quiet place, large private and gated parking. It is an old farm/barn converted and renovated, very quaint and with warm character. Beautiful inner garden. Easy to find and convenient location for the area. The bed was super comfortable. Hot water with very good pressure. Quiet night and clean air. Very nice people at reception and the restaurant.

Negative: The air extractor in the bathroom was extremely loud. It turned out with the light and it was timed to switch off after probably 10-15 min. It was very loud and we could hear it through the closed bathroom door. The room was hot in the evening but the thermostat did not work, then it was rather cold in the morning. Noises and voices between the rooms and from the hallway could be heard in the room. Towels and linens seemed clean and smelled nice but did not have a starchy feel to them, were more like household linens than a hotel's. The restaurant was on the expensive side (€15 for a pizza, €7 desert), some of the dishes and utensils were not very clean, the starter bread was stale, but the rest of the food was tasty. The breakfast was nothing special, many local pastries, cold and minimal scrambled eggs and bacon, toast bread (no fresh bread), no fresh juices. The coffee was good.

Summary: Good overnight stay or probably for a weekend, but somehow expensive for what it offers.

Positive: The property has been beautifully converted and is very stylish. The landscaping and garden around it are beautiful. The restaurant was attractive, the food good and the staff attentive.

Negative: The breakfast really let the whole Locanda down. There was a large selection of pastries, but many were dry and old and the only fruit was just oranges or very dull apples. There were also some scrambled eggs, bacon and a few cold meats and bland sliced cheese.The addition of some fresh juice, some fresh fruit salad or other fruit options, some reasonable cheese and perhaps fewer but better quality and fresher patties would have raised the tone of the whole breakfast.
