Positive: The staff were super friendly and nice! We felt very welcomed. The room was exceptionally clean. The room was spacious and you couldn’t hear the other guests.

Negative: Nothing negative about the property, more about the local infrastructure. There’s an inconvenient turn from the main road to the road leading to the property, there’s no split in the line where one can turn. Perhaps this will change in the future!

Positive: The host, Maria, who speaks fluent English, was delightful and extremely helpful. We booked this accommodation after a long drive specifically for the restaurant. Very disappointingly, we discovered it was closed on Tuesdays. Maria gave us several other options close by but it meant getting back in the car again and driving to another town to eat.

Negative: Only that the restaurant was closed, but that was nobody’s fault, just bad luck that we arrived on a rest day for staff. Mattresses were hard so the bed was not comfortable for older folks like us.

Summary: The location and building, an old converted barn, were wonderful and the hospitality excellent.-
