Cleanliness! At Mile of Sky Cottage we pride ourselves on keeping our home CLEAN and up to date. My Co-Host Kim is available should you feel the Cottage does not meet a 5 Star for cleanliness! We want you and your family to feel comfortable during your stay.
Mile of Sky Cottage is nestled off the road for privacy and sits on 3.74 acres of land. The property boasts a large front yard perfect for stargazing and for kids and dogs to play, we also have a small water feature that has gold fish you can feed. You can even catch the frogs sunbathing by day and singing you a tune at night. The backyard is shaded with trees and has a large inground fire pit, there is a small two level deck, with a propane grill available for grilling and seating on the lower deck - propane and grilling tools are provided.
Inside our updated Cottage we offer 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and can accommodate 10 guests - 8 would be in bedrooms with beds - 2 would sleep be in the common areas (couch converts into full size bed and a queen air mattress is available as well).
Our living room comes with a Roku TV and has a large selection of DVD's, books and both video & board/card games to entertain you and your friends/family. The large picture window offers views of the water feature and front yard. FYI - There are no blinds or curtains on the living room window
In the dining room you'll find our designated work space for those traveling for work. The dining room table seats 6 - if you include the workspace and benches you have enough seats for10.
Our kitchen has custom tile work & unique lighting and comes stocked for all your cooking needs (including pantry items and bottled water). We have an electric stovetop and a convection/conventional bake oven. There is a 12-Cup drip coffee maker with coffee, cream & sugar provided. The kitchen has a microwave and dishwasher with place settings for 10.
