Step into the Lemon Drop Cottage and start to relax. Our 3 BR, 2 Bath home features a large living room and open concept dining room/kitchen with an island bar. Although this home is part of the historical society, it still retains the charm of being built in 1871. But don't be fooled - the lemon drop also has many modern upgrades. A brand new kitchen, nice new comfy mattresses and of course....Wifi!
Master bedroom features a queen sized bed and has en suite bath.
Guest bedroom has full sized bed and one twin bed
Bedroom upstairs features 2 twin beds.
Off of the dining room is a slider leading to the large enclosed porch, which is great for those cool summer nights when you'd like to sit and still enjoy the outdoors a bit longer. Off of the porch is another outdoor area - a deck/patio area so if you'd like to sit in direct sunlight during the day or into the evening you can relax and do so! The patio area is also equipped with a grill so you have plenty of space to sit, relax, and prepare dinner for the evening while you enjoy a refreshment.

Summary: Great location. Close to downtown and the state park. Just a block from the main street but that was enough to provide quiet. Really nice screened in porch.

Summary: This is the second year of staying in this VRBO. Sara was easy to work with, the home is lovely, with everything you may need. While the home is a short two block walk to downtown, the neighborhood is very quiet and private. We will definitely visit Pentwater and this home again!

Summary: Our stay was enjoyable and my only regret is we didn’t have more time! The home was a comfortable size for 3 adults and 2 kids (under 3) to stay. We loved the screened in 3 seasons room, both for our Toddler to play and after the kids went to bed. The location was convenient, 1 block from the main strip and 3 mins from a coffee shop :) The window AC units helped keep the house cool when needed but we only used them once! The space felt private and we would stay here again

Summary: The cottage is lovely! My family loved being so close to town, for pizza and ice cream! The master bedroom with full bath, a nice kitchen for cooking, table space for a group to play cards. along with the screened room, is the icing for me! The upstairs is fine for 2 kids, as long as you expect, and know it’s a historical home, so quite tight. We will return!

Summary: Close walking distance to anything you could want in town. Beach just a little further and walkable. Fantastic screened in porch and back patio. air conditioner was most welcome on about the warmest days of the year. Owners easy to contact and took care of a little problem that day.

Summary: The house was really cute! It was close to everything. The attic was a little sketchy but my grown daughter agreed to sleep up there. I wouldn’t have and neither would any of my sisters have wanted to stay up there. The stairs were steep and short and the ceiling up there was very low! Great for kids only! The bathrooms and kitchen were nice. Loves the screen porch the best! We hung out there every day! The second bedroom is super tiny! No room for your clothing or luggage. We used the large room to put all our bags. Great for a family but not for couples. The master bedroom was large and had lots of storage space. Overall we really liked it even with the drawbacks.

Summary: We are three lifelong friends of over 45 years and love our girls trips. This was our second time staying at The Lemon Drop within 3 years and it has become a favorite.
