Positive: Lochinvar House is an idyllic country manor in original, historic mid 1800โ€™s architecture and decor nestled in a scenic valley no more than 20mins from the heart of the Hunter. The caretakers Lara and Thomas were passionate and proud, ensuring our party were comfy and well fed from the amazing breaky. Ideal location for a celebration or just to chill and get in some quality time with friends or family.

Positive: Very handy for the purpose of our trip to the Hunter Valley. Attentive and friendly host. Lovely breakfast.
Negative: A number of potholes up the long driveway. Very hard to see in the night.
Summary: Grand old home with large bedrooms and bathroom, really lovely host and breakfast.

Positive: Beautiful historic home, very quiet location - the only thing we could hear were the cows in a nearby paddock mooing (took me back to my childhood growing up in the country). Bedroom spacious, comfy and clean, as was the shared bathroom next door. Our host, Lara, was so lovely, friendly and welcoming, and communicated with us on the day of arrival confirming our booking and time of arrival. She also messaged us the next day to check on us as we had to leave early due to a medical issue, which was really nice of her.
Negative: Nothing.
