Summary: The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is a fantastic place to stay in Crested Butte. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the mountain. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the beds were super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day outdoors. Another great perk is the free bus service into town, which runs regularly and makes exploring downtown Crested Butte hassle-free. Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient mountain getaway!

Summary: Location was perfect for our group. Condo was clean and spacious. The kitchen only had bare minimum of utensils and no condiments/spices… not even salt and pepper!! The nice large refrigerator with filtered water and ice in the door was not working. They had brought in a much smaller apartment sized refrigerator that didn’t have an ice maker!

Summary: I really liked that you were right at the base of the mountain so it was like a 5 minute walk to get on the lift.

Summary: Great service, location was absolutely perfect. Used the shuttle to go into town and back and it ran smoothly and timely. Beds were comfy but the pillows were not. AC unit was broken throughout the entire hotel while we were there but it wasn’t a big deal luckily as we were visiting in winter. There was some trash left on the side of the mini fridge, but I can see how that might be missed by the service staff. Overall, we would definitely come back, mostly for the unbeatable location.

Summary: Great location, large room, pretty clean, helpful front desk. Some of the furniture in the room was stained or worn. The TV was connected to a VCR/DVD player. I have not seen one of those in awhile. Would be nice to have a microwave. I was surprised that i had to pay $30/day for parking, apparently a City of Crested Butte rule, and there was no alternative.
