Positive: Beautifully maintained lodge, clean, comfortable and so relaxing after busy days exploring. It’s a quick drive from town and super quiet and felt very safe. The staff were phenomenal and made sure we had everything we needed - even updating us on what attractions were open each day. The pool and lounge area were also great! I am celiac and allergic to dairy and they went above and beyond to ensure I had breakfast and desert options. The breakfast they served each day was amazing! The minibar and laundry service were both very reasonably priced which we appreciated.

Negative: We loved everything! If I could request one change, it would be for them to offer dinner (perhaps on demand) in the cafeteria as the food was so good!

Positive: Maria Jose. The receptionist who is on duty every day from about 8 am to 8 pm worked tirelessly to make sure everyone who was staying. There had the best possible experience. Her English was excellent and she gave us fantastic advice and helped us book tours. The location of the property is perfect, we had a car which was great. It is a Haven within a desert. Peaceful and so clean. I would recommend it to any of my friends.

Negative: Nothing it was exactly what we were looking for.

Summary: Peace and tranquility a Haven within the desert. Do not miss this little gem.

Positive: Excellent hotel. Very peaceful location. Lovely pool area. Delicious breakfast. Very helpful staff. Loved our stay! Recommend hiring a car as the hotel is a bit outside town, but the hotel could organise local taxis which were also very easy.

Positive: Lodge Quelana is a true oasis of peace just outside San Pedro de Atacama. Beautifully designed in a local style, very tasteful and exceptionally clean. The atmosphere is calm and grounding, a perfect place to slow down and rest after exploring the desert. What truly makes this place special is the hospitality. The team is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, always helpful and caring.

Positive: A really lovely little hotel in a quiet rural location just out of town. The best bit was that the staff were SO friendly and helpful, always smiling, and they went over and above to help us get the most from our stay. They were especially helpful when we had problems booking tickets for the tourist attractions around San Pedro. The breakfast was delicious, all home made, cakes, breads and yoghurts, fresh coffee and freshly cooked omelettes or eggs. The rural location was perfect, a lovely garden, pool, and the rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated in the local style. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
