Summary: We loved our stay at Lodore Lodge. It is a very tranquil and peaceful setting. If you are looking for some rest and relaxation this is the place to be. Louse is an excellent host and her breakfasts are a real treat worthy of any 5 star rated restaurant. In terms of boutique accomodation this is right up there. You will not be disappointed.

Summary: Just book this place, you won’t regret it. It’s incredibly comfortable and relaxing. It feels luxurious but not stuffy. Everything is so thoughtful, truly a place where you feel relaxed as soon as you arrive. The host is so warm and welcoming. Some of my favorite parts: the hot tub with great views, being able to see the stars at night, and the delightful breakfast waiting in the morning. Thank you Louise for such a restful stay!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Lodore Lodge! Louise is an excellent hostess, and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. We ended up staying inside more than we expected to, due to illness, and we were so happy to be in clean, comfortable, and relaxing accommodations. Lodore is very close to the Bay of Islands airport, and very tranquil. We have no complaints about our experience at all, and we highly recommend Lodore as a lovely bed and breakfast. If you require more than just a stay, I believe Louise would be an excellent resource to help you with any needs. She helped us with transportation needs, as well as dining and shopping, and we so appreciated every bit of her hospitality. Thank you for hosting us, Louise!
