This house is located on one acre of land. It has a beautiful lake view with 375 feet of lake frontage including a beach. Vacations here can be quiet due to the lack of lake activity in the summer. It will feel like you are here by yourself because of the woods on either side sheltering the house from the neighbors. The bedrooms are configured as follows: 1 bedroom has a king size bed, 1 bedroom has a queen size; two bedrooms have twin beds. Eight people can easily be accommodated. We could even set up a one-person portable cot in one of the bedrooms with the twins which might aid some families with young kids. There is a very comfortable porch that wraps around the north and east sides of the house. The gas grill is located on this porch. There are 2 kayaks and a paddle boat available. The entrance to the water does not drop suddenly drop off, it is very gradual allowing youngsters to play in the shallow portion without fear of getting over their heads quickly. A standby generator provides automatic power in the unlikely event of a power outage. The entire house is Wifi enabled with cable and netflix available. Summary: Our trip was a little slice of heaven, a much needed retreat from a busy & chaotic life! Peaceful, relaxing & quiet. Simple check-in and check-out process. All the amenities of home away from home. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home with a personalized letter, three kinds of homemade cookies and two kinds of lemonade. Easy to contact when needed. The lake was clean & calm & secluded, yet much larger than expected outside of our cove. Great for kayaking & paddleboating. We were able to see wildlife such as turtles, kingfisher, great blue heron, hummingbird, monarch butterfly, dragonflies and some larger birds of prey. Although we didn't fish, there were plenty of them jumping in the evenings. Spacious yard & beach area. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed swimming & were exhausted by evening. WiFi was spotty so the owner sent someone out same day. It was nice for the kids to "unplug" for awhile. Grocery store was about 15 minutes away, with a small country store within 5 minutes. Hiking trails & activities within 30 minutes. Definitely worth a trip!

Summary: Very easy check in process and communication with property owner. House offered a rustic setting along with a beautiful view of lake. House had everything you could need and more. It was so relaxing we didn’t think about anything, but where we were. Even the huskies went swimming

Summary: We rented this to enjoy a relaxing family vacation and we were not disappointed. We loved the area. The beach and water “toys” were fantastic. The renting process and follow up with the owners was very easy and smooth. Would recommend this property highly.

Summary: From the moment we pulled into the driveway we were simply blown away not only by this incredible property but also by Dick & Bev’s hospitality. We had a fun but relaxing family and friends summer vacation which was enjoyed by all — especially our 6 year old daughter, 1 year old nephew, and out two water-loving labs! Can’t wait to come back for summer 2023 with the whole crew again!

Summary: The freshly baked cookies and lavender lemonade awaiting us upon arrival were a big hit with the kids. The large, private beach and yard were the highlight of this lake front log cabin. Beautiful wood work throughout interior. Two spacious bathrooms with laundry was a plus. Home owners went above expectations when Bev brought fresh picked raspberries to our family. She wanted to make sure everything was okay after an evening thunderstorm. Home was clean and the smoker was phenomenal! Kids used the kayaks and paddle boat provided.

Summary: Dick and Bev were very attentive to our questions prior to arrival. When we got there, they had cookies and lemonade waiting for us as well as a kit for making s'mores that the kids couldn't wait to nightfall to get into. The home is perfect and has everything (and more) that you could need. Beach to the lake is beautiful and makes accessing easy and gives all with different levels of swimming experience confidence. The hardest part of the trip was pulling out of the driveway to head home :). Would very much recommend and we are already looking at which week next summer we may book.

Summary: Dick and Bev’s property was the perfect lake gateway! My family and I kept joking how it felt like we had a private lake property all to ourselves. There were 6 adults and one almost 2 year old and I think I can say for all of us that the sandy beach was the best feature. Our almost 2 year old LOVED being able to walk right in and splash around. He has always been a little hesitant around water, but this trip he was able to enjoy it all. The paddle boat and kayaks were great to have. Kept us active and gave us the opportunity to explore the lake. The big lawn, is perfect for yard games. We played bocce, Kubb and cornhole! We did have a small issue with the downstairs bathroom, however, both Dick and Bev went above and beyond to help us rectify the problem.

Summary: We were very skeptical about renting over the internet. But Dick and Bev were very helpful and put our minds at ease. Their home is comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. Our family and grandchildren had a great time fishing and swimming. We would definitely rent from them again

Summary: Arrived at the house; waiting for us were homemade chocolate, peanut butter, and oatmeal cookies. Also a welcome basket with ingredients to make Smores. The pictures don't do the property justice...it is so beautiful and comfortable. It has so many extras. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Every appliance you need. Beach chairs, floats, fire pit with wood to use. We had a 5, 6, 10 year olds. My niece came from Chicago with her boyfriend. My daughter's brother, wife, and children. And last but not least, my daughter and granddaughter. We will be back next year for sure. Loved the place.

Summary: We couldn’t be happier with our experience at the Conant’s lake cabin. Booking was easy and straight forward. The hosts were easy to communicate with and even reached out to offer various items that would be useful with our 1 and 3 year old daughters. These items included a play pen that could be used outside, pack and play that was brand new, and audio monitor, and a couple of small high chair/booster seats. The home is very easy to find and check in was simple . We were greeted with a letter with special instructions, three different types of fresh baked cookies and two pitchers of fresh lemonade. This was so lovely after a bit of a drive with two kiddos. The house was clean and exactly as described. There is a porch that is covered that allowed us to eat outside despite the rain. You have all the supplies to grill on your choice of a gas or charcoal grill, which is a rarity in our previous rental experience. The beach and the lake are like none other. The beach has a very shallow entry that allowed my 3 yo a lot of independence in the water. The house is in a cove on a relatively large lake, but you wouldn’t know it because it is so quiet on the cove. We rarely even saw other people. The paddle boat was in good working order and there were two kayaks that we didn’t use but were there. There were also yard games, many sand toys, and inflatables that we all enjoyed. We would definitely return in the future if given the opportunity.
