Welcome to the newly renovated Mountainside Retreat. Just over an hour north of Atlanta, this rustic log home provides the peaceful mountain escape you are looking for. This home is set in a beautiful mountain setting that will allow plenty of room to rest, relax and enjoy all that North Georgia has to offer. You probably won't want to leave.
This cedar log home, with all of the bells and whistles, was built with a ton of rustic charm. With over 2600 square feet of space this home is perfect for families and those looking to entertain up to 10 people in style.
The long-range views from this unique mountainside hideaway are nothing short of spectacular. Available year-round, these views are available from both the large lower deck as well as the spacious upper deck and dining areas. The gently sloping back yard has room to play and a fire pit with ample seating.
This home has 3 well appointed bedrooms, a sleeping loft, 3 full bathrooms, large living and dining area, 2 stone fireplaces, expansive game room with fireplace, large screen TV, 8 foot pool table, foosball table, a table for games and puzzles and a wet bar with refrigerator. This home will sleep 10 people very comfortably.
This home is located in a lovely mountaintop community that allows you to get away from it all, but still be close to all local attractions.
Only about 10 minutes from beautiful downtown Blue Ridge with dozens of quaint shops and restaurants to explore
Just 3 minutes from some of the best BBQ in the area at The Pink Pig restaurant (where the locals go)
About 15 minutes to famous Mercier Orchards, which has some of the best breakfast and lunch food around
Zip lining, fly fishing, horseback riding, hiking, waterfalls, whitewater rafting, tubing, and a tons of other outdoor activities are just a short ride away.
With paved roads all the way to our driveway, this home is easy to get to and motorcycle friendly

Summary: Loved the house, great location with quick access to blue ridge, enjoyed the multiple living areas (main and basement) which served our group well. Lots of games and stuff to do in the basement. Highly recommend!

Summary: House is beautiful log cabin and we’ll maintained, space was perfect. The property is as described, just pay attention that three beds are in an open loft. No problem for us because the downstairs game room had a great space to hang when the kids went to bed. I just personally missed it until re-read the listing more closely. Road up is paved which is nice, probably about 3/4 mile of mountain road. If you aren’t familiar with mountain winding road just try and be there first day during daylight to get a feel for it and the rest of the trip will be great.

Summary: My family decided to rent this property and spend time together for Christmas! it was 7 adults, three toddlers, and an infant. We had a wonderful time! The Pool Table and basement was perfect to be in once the kids went to sleep and it buffered any noise we made from keeping them up. View from the living room and kitchen is really nice! We walked daily and enjoyed the mountain as well. It was really clean and exactly as adverdised. The host was quick to respond and very kind. I'd stay again!

Summary: The house was beautiful, everyone enjoyed the game room! State is true the internet is spotty, so don't plan to work or do homework - enjoy the time with your family, play games and see local sites. The drive up is not for the faint at heart, arrive during day light but so worth the drive up. The Owners were awesome great communication and prompt to answer back!

Summary: The perfect getaway from the busy city to be with family from another state. Everything about the experience met or exceeded expectations. The cabin was wonderful. We loved drinking coffee on the deck in the morning and campfires at night under a full moon. Communication with the hosts was great and we enjoyed doing a couple of the outdoor adventures they recommended in the area. Would love to visit again, there's still much more to take in and do! Grateful for the memories.

Summary: You could not ask for prettier views of the Smokey Mountains! The cabin was very roomy with the beautiful deck upstairs and downstairs. The hot tub was certainly a plus! Game room had everything to keep us busy. Certainly recommend staying at cabin.
