Summary: Great staff, beautiful room, but there was something wrong with the water. Getting a cup of water to brush teeth, I noticed it was incredibly cloudy and an odd smell. Also there was foam coming from the plate below the faucet while showering. Not sure if it's the water supply, plumbing or a combination, but I kinda couldn't wait to get home and shower in clean/trustworthy water.

Summary: What a gem! As I searched for a place to stop on a long journey from Connecticut to Ohio, I discovered the Log Cabin Lodge & Suites, that offered Alpine Lodge style rooms on Hotels.com. I loved it so much that when I drove by again a few days later on the way home, I booked it again, this time the room with a Jacuzzi style bathtub inside the main room. All the walls and ceiling are covered in wood, the furniture is rustic and stylish at the same time, with all chairs, rocking chair, lamps made in wood, probably handmade, each one a little different. Fridge, microwave and electric fireplace are all nice complements for the stay. It's hard to find a cozier place, and affordable! Large free parking and WiFi add to the package, and the staff is extraordinarily friendly, especially Jody. Highly recommended!

Summary: Randomly booked this place as as a joke while driving to DC. It was midnight and the room was $112 and we just wanted to sleep.Told my wife I got her a log cabin. Didn't realize it had a zoo until we pulled in. Rooms are nice and clean. Ended up staying the day at the zoo, kids loved it. Will make plans come back in the future.

Summary: This hotel was charming with a lot of Log wood details. It’s very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Not a big fan of Zoos, so sad to have animals in captivity
