Blue Ridge Retreat is a 3 bedroom/2bath log cabin located 1 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Right in the heart of the Mountains. Blue Ridge Retreat has 2 beautiful decks on the front and back of the house. In the home you will find a clean, cozy atmosphere with all the amenities that you could possibly need. Fully stocked kitchen, Jacuzzi bathtub, dedicated workspace, yard for children to play in, gas grill, wifi, gas fireplace and so much more. Perfect for a couples retreat or for a family.
Blue Ridge Retreat sits in a peaceful mountain community with nice roads to travel on and only sits one mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Our home has a huge front porch and a circle driveway that makes it easy to get in and out. On the back of the house you will fine a very large back deck with a patio swing, patio table and chairs and a gas grill (gas supplied). The yard is very nice and a great place for children to run and play. Our cabin has great windows that allow for lots of natural light which makes it even better.
In the home you will find all the amenities that you could possibly need.
The Kitchen:
Fully stocked, cozy kitchen with stainless steel appliances and two different types of coffee makers and a beautiful table and chairs to have your meals at and make all those family memories. The kitchen has everything you would need to do any cooking that you wish while staying there.
Just off of the kitchen is a sunroom with plenty of nature lighting that is set up for a dedicated workspace or a sitting room to sit and read a great book. Once you enter this room you will not want to leave.
Just down the hallway from the kitchen is the laundry room closet. There you will find a washer and dryer that you are welcome to use at no additional cost.
Livingroom:
Just off the kitchen is the living room with plenty of seats for your whole family in the comfy furniture. Along with a gas fireplace and a New Smart Roku Tv.
Master Bedroom:
The master bedroom is located on the main floor and has its own attached bathroom with a jetted jacuzzi tub that you will for sure want to use and a walk in shower.The bedroom has a large walk in closet and a dresser so you have plenty of storage for your things. The master bedroom has a comfy queen size bed to sleep.
The LOFT (2 bedroom):
This home has so much natural light that it just makes you want to smile. This is my favorite room in the house. It is very cheery and the ambiance is happy. The loft has a regular staircase so it makes it easy access. This room is equipped with a dedicated workspace, a queen size bed, a dresser and a place to hang your clothes.
3rd Bedroom:
The third bedroom is located on the main floor with another bathroom just outside the room. This room is tastefully decorated has 2 closets, a dresser, a queen bed and a great place to do your makeup. I love this room. It has beautiful windows that are at the front of the house and the side of the house so you can really take in the nature scenery from the inside.
The retreat is located near so many great tourist attractions.

Summary: A wonderful short stay. Property was beautiful. Easy access all the little touches really appreciated. Everything we needed to cook and enjoy time at cabin. Grilled out on deck one night. Took owners recommendations and hiked buffalo mountain trail. View was excellent. Spent afternoon at Chateau Morrisette which is a beautiful winery. Made our way over to Mt Airy for BBQ at Little Ritchard’s. Really appreciate the recommendation we had a perfect weekend trip.

Summary: This cabin is absolutely ADORABLE! It was comfortable and had ample space for our family. It wasn’t too far from some great spots for food and shopping. We had an incredible time and would highly recommend this property.

Summary: Last April we stayed in this cabin and had a wonderful time! Property manager was quick reapomding to any questions we had. Cabin was beautiful and clean and very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: This was a mini version log cabin of our parents place in Lowgap, NC….warm, easy, welcoming! Easy to Lowgap and a visit to familiar places and faces. The Autum Leaves craft festival in Mount Airy was amazing. Recommend the location and management company.

Summary: Beautiful cabin in the mountains. We lost power due to the hurricane but luckily, they had a generator! It was fun to see all the deer & turkeys.

Summary: We all loved the cabin! We all had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The kitchen is very well equipped which was sincerely appreciated. I liked how you placed the quilts over the railing to give some privacy to the loft area. Very nice idea. The back room is very nice with all the windows. I loved the location of the cabin. Remote but yet only about 30 minutes from Mt. Airy, NC. The cabin is well decorated. The only negative would be the two big rocks at the front of the walk to the cabin and no railing on the steps. It was not an issue for me but my 91 year old Mom and 89 year old Aunt would have really appreciated a railing. It would also be nice to have at least one more TV in the cabin. Overall a very nice and clean cabin that I would recommend to anyone who wants to visit that area of our beautiful country. I hope to revisit with my husband in the near future. It is a beautiful place!! Thank you for sharing your cabin with me and my family!

Summary: This cabin is absolutely gorgeous and comfortable at the same time! The bedrooms were nice and comfortable. Just as soon as we got settled in we saw a few deer in the yard!! We stayed only two nights…we would really like to go back and stay longer!!!
