Positive: We had our own kitchen. There was a BON AMI grocery 2 mins away. Location is excellent.
Negative: Really ,it was great. A lovely long porch (second floor) with a table and chairs and a lovely large ash tree for shade,
Summary: I would stop here again in a heartbeat. The host was amazing and she wants her guests to be happy !

Positive: The host was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We liked that the washroom was on the same floor as the bedroom as the stairs are steep. Although we weren't there long enough to need to do laundry, it's very practical having a washer and dryer in the kitchen. We had all the kitchen appliances we needed. This older home has charm but taller people will have difficulty with the low slanted ceilings upstairs. We loved the location right in the center of this quaint town.
Negative: This has already been mentioned in these reviews, so I was surprised that it hasn't been taken care of yet. But the bedroom definitely needs blinds or curtains. The flimsy, thin blinds there presently, let the bright morning sun right through. At this time of the year with the sunrise at 5:30 AM this feature was very inconvenient. We'd give a much higher rating if this problem is taken care of. There was a piece of material covering part of the window in the other room but that room is darker because of the position of the tree. The television has no cable channels or antenna. It's just a screen to be used with the DVD player or your own devices. Not a problem if you know this in advance. The neighbours right next door were renovating their terrace and the other neighbour started a big excavation project so it was noisy but this noise would be temporary, just a bit of bad luck with our dates. Not sure what the project entails but for our dates it involved big machinery and tearing up their asphalt driveway.

Positive: Clear and easy access instructions, very clean with fresh and fluffy towels. Nicely situated. We appreciated the private parking space.
Negative: Only one air conditioning unit (located on the second floor) for the whole apartment so the apartment was a bit warmer than we are used to.

Negative: It was more like a AirBNB and the cleaning person left the food in the fridge. I also struggled to connect WIFI because it was disconnected.
