Summary: This is as it is billed, a simple, clean place to spend the night. The rooms have a microwave and refrigerator but no thermostats so you adjust temperature with opening window or plugging in space heater. I would stay here again. I have never seen such clean windows!!

Summary: Lohaki Lodge is very conveniently located in the village of Volcano. We were very comfortable staying here. Close proximity to the National Park.

Summary: Lovely place to spend the night and so close to the national partk. We really enjoyed it. Touchless checkin was actually very easy.

Summary: Rustic charm just a few minutes from volcanoes. Be aware that there is no a/c. My room had a dehumidifier that was loud and ran hot, making me think the heat was on in my room. It was also rather loud and I was grateful that it shut off around 8pm

Summary: Near the volcano, which is why we picked it. Reasonable price, near the village and the volcano house. The room was large and fairly clean. The frogs kept us awake, but we got used to them. Very responsive hosts, there is no host at the lodge, but there are plenty of supplies if you run out of towels or coffee, or anything you can usually get from a hotel. The neighborhood seems safe. The store down the road had most anything you need. There’s a laundry at the true value store down the road.

Summary: It would be wonderful if you provided ear plugs for the frogs. I brought my own but my family did not. Also a fan that can go in the window would be wonderful to cool the room down.
