Our Mini Cabin sits on the edge of the Canyon at Palo Duro Zipline Adventure & RV Park and faces outward towards the east with views of the State Park and Sunrise. Known as the Lone Star cabin, this space is 200sq ft featuring a comfy Queen Size Tuft & Needle bed, Queen Size Serta Pull out Futon, bathroom, kitchenette- that includes small fridge, microwave, sink & coffee maker. Bathroom is spacious with a walk in shower and small closet. The large bay window floods the entire space with natural light throughout the day and offer the perfect view to the Canyon. The expansive deck has a propane grill with burner to enjoy a quick simple outdoor cooked meal if you chose.
The Lone Star Mini Cabin is nestled in a row of cabins and is the ideal location for those days after spending time in Palo Duro Canyon. A great place to relax after a day of hiking or biking. Our mini cabin is perfect for 2 people, snug with 4:).
The Lone Star Cabin is located thru the entrance at Palo Duro Zipline Adventure & RV park, continue thru the RV park gate and is situated on the left, which is east side. Check-in time is 3pm or later. Access is through a keyless lock for which you'll be provided a code prior to arrival, so late night check-ins are not a problem. Check-out time is 11am.
No one should start their day without caffeine - so you'll find a selection of tea, coffee, and creamer to get you powered up, along with some breakfast snacks.
We encourage you to make use of the deck, where we provide two chairs, lounger, grill and north wind fence block for those gusty panhandle days. A metal picnic table is provided outside to eat or play cards on. Bug spray and sun screen is available in the closet.
A Smart WIFI TV is provided that you can access your personal Netflix, Prime, Hulu(etc) account(s).
Cool & Heat the space with a Window Unit heating & Air Conditioner & ceiling fan.
The bathroom is fully decked out with clean towels, some basic toiletries- shampoo, conditioner & body wash. If you need more towels we keep spares in the closet, along with a hair dryer, and iron.
For security purposes, we do ask that all of our guests have a complete Airbnb profile before we accept booking requests. Basic contact information (phone number & email address) must be verified, and your Offline ID (e.g. driver's license) should be linked to your account.
We are just a txt or phone call away & can be there in about 10 mins with anything that might need attention.
Please be advised-Currently adding other cabins for guests to enjoy so there is possibility of construction noise.
The Zipline & RV Park are on the same property, so you may see & hear other guests coming and going, walking, camping & ziping throughout the day.
The Lighthouse cabin also is the perfect place to view the panhandle sunrise from inside or outdoor space as well. Relax & Enjoy your stay in Canyon close to Palo Duro Canyon State Park.
The entrance to Palo Duro State Park is approx 500ft from the RV Park.

Summary: It's a little tight for a family of four but the kids are young and don't mind! Otherwise, it's the perfect spot to get away and visit Palo Duro Canyon State Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: If you are going to the park, you cannot find a better location to stay. This adorable little cabin is a minute from the entrance to Palo Duro Canyon State Park. The owners stock it with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Forget something or just need a coffee or a beer? Sad Monkey Mercantile is just a short drive away.

Summary: We chose this cabin because it's so close to Palo Duro Canyon. The owners thought of everything from breakfast to munchies to an outdoor firepit. They responded quickly when we wanted to extend our stay. We will definitely rent this cabin again!

Summary: Small but perfectly formed and with a beautiful view. I was initially a little bit nervous with them being in a RV park but it was quiet, peaceful and the views of the night sky were truly astonishing due to the lack of light pollution. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again
