Positive: Unreal location on such a beautiful beach - literally out of a paradise dream. Seen some complaints about plastic but we saw no rubbish until one day when the tide changed and a bunch washed up - but we just gathered it up and it put it in the bin and back to beauty it was! Rooms are definitely basic so if you want more luxury this is not your place but they have everything you could possibly need - the bucket showers are fun and cooling, there is no fan or AC but lots of windows and mosquito nets so all fine there. Bedding was clean and beds were comfy. There are a lot of creatures like biting ants and lizards and spiders but your in a remote jungly paradise beach - so worth the trade off! There are tadpoles and frogs in the water buckets but these are to get the mosquitoes very clever really. You can just bang on the water and they swim to the bottom so you really don’t need to interact with them. The communal cafe has a fun, chilled, sociable vibe. There are hammocks on the beach and DIY gym that can be used.
Negative: We were there for 8 days and didn’t bring a lot of money to get motorbikes about the island (bring lots of cash to the island there is no ATM) so had to eat at the restaurent every day. The portions are big and the food is a bit repetitive but tasty. However - one of us got terrible food poisoning on one day ( to be fair the rest was fine and we didn’t hear any one else) but it was frustrating that when we quietly tried to tell the owner he kept saying it can’t of been the food - and wouldn’t listen that was the only place we had eaten for days - and then was not as warm to us for the rest of the stay and avoided us and charged us for a few bashed up bananas that weren’t on the menu and was all my partner could eat after being so so so ill. So yes, this place is a simple paradise and is easy and lovely - just not if something goes wrong. They don’t have a first aid kit / any emergency protocol in place so you are quite on your own if something goes wrong - so I would recommend going BUT also to bring cash to leave if you need (that was our fault) but also enough medication and everything in case you get sick.
Summary: Idyllic place, cosy, dreamy - management could be more prepared for when things go wrong.

Positive: The beach was nice and it felt like we were off grid. There's plenty of space and hammocks around to read a book. The dogs are also sweet and so was the kitchen staff. The food was very good and filling
Negative: The place has so much potential and we could see what a paradise it once was, now it looks kind of everything is left behind, forgotten and trashy. It would have been so nice to have the opportunity to free your mind and live a minimalistic life (that was the reason we came) but the owner was not there for 2 months and the staff were playing very loud some sort of hardcore techno and throwing their garbage in the nature. As we knew the only chance to get food was to buy the expensive but good food in the only restaurant on the property but there's not even a free bottle of water to the food. It costs 0,5 dollars just to refill your bottle of water. It could have been nice to install a filter system. The only way to shower was with a bucket from very dirty water filled with tad poles. (We had a room with a common toilet) We heard from others that the bungalows with private toilets were a little better. There were also many cockroaches and ants in the bungalow

Positive: Very beautiful! You are completely alone. To get there you have to walk through a jungle what also a very fun experience is. There is no wifi or reception so it’s a detox place. it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve been and all worth it!
Negative: The only things I have to say is that there are a lot of dogs and they follow you. They don’t do anything to you but if your not a big dog fan it can be difficult sometimes. Also the prices are higher then other places.

Positive: Lonely beach was stunning. The best sunset I have ever seen & it was during rainy season. The food was amazing. It was an adventure being in the jungle. The sounds at night were incredible.
Negative: It was very hot & sweaty staying there so no fans added to this but it is an eco resort so I get why there aren’t. Difficult to get to. Not much to do once you are there but that’s the point. Time to switch off & chill out.
