Summary: The place is a 3 bed converted barn with a lovely open fireplace and endless wood, great views over the enormous garden and lovely French furniture, a 2 minute walk from the sea and beautiful sunsets. The kitchen and bathroom was clean, although we shared the place with a few cobwebs. Our host left us warm apple cake and homemade jam and kindly brought us towels when we contacted her. We stayed in September for a few nights, with three kids (3-10) and 2 dogs. They had a lovely stay, there was plenty of space to run around. Our long weekend was very enjoyable and very good value.

Summary: We had a great stay with our children, ages 8 and 4. The grounds in front of the house are a spacious and safe playground, and the surroundings are just beautiful; green, wide and just a few steps from the spectacular cliffs. A perfect place for families that appreciate the calm, that offers the charm and the dynamics of beautiful beaches close by.

Summary: We stayed in the gite in the last week of July and enjoyed very good weather. The gite is at a fantastic location in a private domain just 300m from the cliffs and walking route along the coastline. The other gite was not occupied, so we enjoyed maximum privacy. Isabelle was very responsive and very welcoming. Lots of nice beaches and attractive villages within reach (e.g. Varengeville sur mer, Le Treport + Mers-Les-Bains, Veules-les-roses). The gite's facilities need updating, e.g. bathroom (no curtain, shower is handheld...), protection from flies (they were all around the place) and garden furniture (picnic table + 2 wooden relaxing chairs, but without cushions).

Summary: We loved our stay! The Gite is really quaint and with lots of room for a large family. The beds were really comfortable and it’s a very quiet location. Our dog absolutely loved it too with a huge garden to roam around. Just a few meters and you are at the top of the cliffs. What a view!! So beautiful. Isabelle was the perfect host and gave us lots of tips as well as some yummy local produce. We even had some bikes we could use to pop down to the boulangerie. The area is very quiet and not at all touristy, perfect for our Covid times. We will definitely go again if we can!

Summary: We are from England and are used to slightly higher standards than this property offered. We felt deceived by the reviews as there was no cheese or cider waiting for us on arrival and the open fire had not been cleaned! Also, the 2nd picture is NOT of the house in which we stayed. There were neighbours 8 metres away living next door waking us up every morning at 6-7am starting their car engines and left them to idle for a few minutes before leaving...! Therefore, not so quiet and secluded as we expected...! Isabelle was a helpful lady who could not understand English but we happily communicated with Google translate when requesting a kettle and mugs that were missing and also replacement lightbulbs that were not working. The description states 'fitted out' but there was not a wardrobe or a chest of drawers in one of the bedrooms so we had to leave our clothes etc on the floor! The vacuum cleaner made a noise but there was no suction....! The bathroom door lock was not working and the toilet seat was loose and coming off the toilet. The bicycles were much appreciated but they were not maintained as the chains and seats were loose/coming off and also a flat tyre to one of them! There is a lot more that could be said but hopefully, this somewhat critical review will encourage 'preventative maintenance' and highlight different things that need to be rectified for future guests.....

Summary: Lovely location for a short stay in this part of France. The gite was clean and the cheese and cider a lovely touch. We enjoyed the lovely grounds and the children enjoyed playing ping pong in the barn. Just across the track is access to a long distance footpath along the cliffs - perfect for an evening stroll at sunset. We enjoyed exploring the wider area and were fortunate to have superb weather. Just a couple of minor issues - the toilet seat had been broken by the previous guests, but I am sure the owner will quickly fix this, as everything else was well-kept. We also had a mouse visit the kitchen, so make sure all food is kept in an enclosed container/ the fridge ! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back though!

Summary: Wonderful location - a delightful property & a wonderful host in Isabelle. The view from & walks along the cliffs are tremendous. We stayed there while there was a heatwave over France but still found plenty to do locally or enjoyed not doing much at all in the lovely surroundings. We travelled with our two dogs and it was a real bonus having such a short trip from Calais to feel we had got away from it all. We will definitely go back.

Summary: Lovely location, situated next to a small wood, great to wake up to the rustling of leaves and woodpeckers. Close to local road & ferry links - a great springboard for exploring the area.

Summary: We (group of 7 friends) spent 5 days at this domicile. The pictures correspond to reality, it is very nice and cosy, espacially when the fireplace is ignited. Mrs. Becquet was a very pleasant host.
