Hello, we offer our charming house type longere completely renovated with private pool and heated. The house is located in the Périgord Noir where you can discover many activities (castles, caves of Lascaux, ...) and enjoy many local products (foie gras, truffle, ...).
The house is located in the center of the village nearby (less than 100 meters) small shops (bakery, butcher, grocery store, pharmacy, bank and coffee shop). The Dordogne river is 10 minutes walk from the house with all the nautical pleasures it provides (swimming, kayaking). The greenway also allows to reach the medieval town of Sarlat-la-canéda by bike (15 km).
The pool is lined with a beautiful little garden and a large pergola.
The house offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It can accommodate 6 people.

Summary: Nice big house with a nice pool in a cute little town. Bakery and coffee at 100 meters. Lots of activity like canoïng in the area. We have had a great stay!

Summary: We rented Les Oliviers for the month of September. Make sure you ask for linens. The house has been very tastefully modernized and is very comfortable. It is situated in a small but busy village that has two general stores, a post office, butcher and a bakery. It also has a launderette, a church and a hair dresser. All are within walking distance from the house. Unfortunately for me …. The bread and the pastries are way too tempting and delicious!! The St Ju restaurant has tables and chairs outside on the small square In front of the church, it is always lively and welcoming, they also do take away Pizzas. We spent a few nights with locals and visitors watching the rugby world cup. There is a market on Thursday mornings geared to locals, not tourists. The pool was cold although heated, we braved it and enjoyed a few swims. St Julien de Lampon is perfectly situated for exploring this beautiful region. There are so many places within a short drive anyone staying here will enjoy them all! Our favourite towns are Domme and Sarlat de Canéde. The views in Domme are spectacular, a true ‘must see’. The Dordogne river is a short walk from the house, you can rent kayaks there and enjoy a picnic and a swim! There are numerous places I could list but I will leave it to others to discover their own Dordogne. Sarlat has a really good tourist information center. Check out market days in all towns- Sarlat is Wed and Saturday. The owner is responsive if there are any issues.

Summary: The property is even more impressive than the photos. The bedrooms are beautifully set up and the main one is huge. The living room and kitchen are beautifully finished and appointed. Our week was boiling hot so the pool was used a lot and it is stunning especially in the evening ! It was our first stay in a village, rather than being more isolated, and it was something we all really enjoyed. It takes seconds to walk to the Boulangerie /patisserie for breakfast !! The village is charming. There is so much to do in the area and it was nice not having to travel far. Les Grottes de Cougnac, Chateau de Fenelon, La Roque-Gageac, Domme, Sarlat and Canoeing are just minutes away. We all enjoyed a lovely week. La maison est joliment amenagee et notre sejour etait genial. Nous esperons visiter encore. Merci beaucoup.

Summary: Biggest issue was the pool. This is not a “heated pool” , the heater only works when the external temperature is above 20 degrees Celsius. There is no mention of this in the advertisement! This meant we arrived to an 18degree pool so we couldn’t use it for 4 days. The pool is said to be heated to 26 but when we checked it was only 22. I complained to the owner and vrbo but no compensation given. Other issues were poor communication upon check-in, they didn’t seem to know we were arriving and it was apparent that they did a quick clean before we arrived. I would be very wary of staying here especially if you want a heated pool for toddler / children as they will find it very cold. Also be wary of the owner - in my experience he is not a reasonable person.

Summary: We chose this property as it is well situated between some of the major sites and is not in a tourist village. The house is lovely and having a pool a bonus! The local resto was good and inviting. If you are coming by air be sure to book the sheets and towels so you don't have to haul in your luggage. Well recommended

Summary: A very enjoyable stay in this lovely house. Mandy was very helpful. Our party consisted of 2 couples. Great location, can walk into village with good amenities. 2 spacious bedrooms with en-suites a 3rd twin room shares one en-suite & is not suitable for young children as cannot be closed off from a staircase which leads to the living area. Downstairs toilet is a bonus. A lovely pool & surrounding area with seating. Secure parking for 1 car. Only negatives were chipped plates, & some broken kitchen knives. We paid €40 for sheets & towels but the ‘fitted’ sheets were too big for the mattresses, a minor thing, they were still usable but good sheets would be nice. Also the fire was not in use, it was quite chilly when we arrived 13th May. But would definitely recommend.

Summary: The property is amazing and only a very short walk to amenities such as Baker, tabac, bar/restaurant and general store. Pool was great and plenty of space in the garden and patio for everyone. It would have been more helpful if the house information book had been in English.

Summary: What a gorgeous property! The pool is amazing and the house very clean. Mandy was super helpful, and the location is great - a small village where you can pick up basic groceries/fresh bread and a short stroll to the banks of the Dordogne, with Kayak centre right there. We're so glad we came.
