Positive: Total relaxation with incredible views at a working lighthouse. Very unique and atmosphere once dark with flashes from the light just set the scene perfectly. Great beaches locally, amazing food in the Long Dock in Carrigaholt and fishing trips.
Negative: Poor water pressure in shower

Positive: This was a totally unique experience, one which anyone that has any interest in water or lighthouses must enjoy. I went with someone that owns and manages a lighthouse in Connecticut - and he had an amazing time during our two-day stay. Mary was a delight to work with for our accommodations.
Negative: Nothing - it was spectacular. The only negative was the lack of internet service, which is mandatory for anyone traveling that would like to stay in touch with the rest of the world.
Summary: It was a wonderful and enjoyable experience to be able to stay at the Loop Head Lighthouse.
