Positive: Cosy and beautiful location, each detail was well thought out and the location of the property felt private.

Negative: There were no issues we had except maybe the bedroom layout I had to sleep downstairs with my son as I wasn’t comfortable with my young children being downstairs on their own.

Summary: Brilliant this is probably the first property that we will actually return to stay in.

Positive: This is a characterful wooden lodge, lovingly and thoughtfully decorated and equipped, and with a welcome pack that sets the standard for everyone else - a bottle of wine, tea, coffee, milk, eggs, bread, butter and shortbread. It’s brilliantly located for the southern half of Skye (Armadale Castle and Gardens are just 24 mins away by car) and has lovely views of the Cuillins. And it’s quiet. And the beds are really comfortable. And the bathroom looks like it was plucked out of a 5 star hotel. And it has parking for at least 2 cars. This is everything a top notch holiday let should be.

Negative: Nothing. The owners have done a fantastic job in creating this special place.

Summary: Gorgeous and beautifully appointed wooden lodge in southern Skye.

Positive: This lodge is amazing! So cosy and comfortable with great facilities. The attention to detail is outstanding, everything is of exceptional standards from the furnushings to the high quality appliances. The hosts really have thought of everything! This a great base to explore Skye.

Positive: A beautiful well equipped lodge. We came back for a second time for our elopement wedding and upon arrival was greeted with a card and a bottle of prosecco on top of the lovely welcome goodies. Thank you so much John and Deborah. I am sure we will be back for a third time!
