Positive: Very beautiful apartment in an old, charming building. The place is clean, nicely and relatively new decorated, integrating details & elements of former design. Beds super comfy, white and sharp sheets and towels, fully functional kitchen, with everything needed if you want to cook. We also found small attention details when we arrived, as water, Prosecco, coffee capsules in the kitchen. Great comms with host on Booking, very responsive and kind.

Negative: Some things need to be changed, as they spoil the beautiful appearance of the place: the bathroom door & the second bathroom window, one of the black sinks in bathroom, the faucets. A deep clean for the bathrooms might also be an option (scale reasons). The elevator is vintage and nice, but super small, as it is with all these old buildings in larger cities. Although we slept very well, a slight rumor can be felt because of metro underground, but nothing to be scared of :) we had a party in the next apartment on a Saturday, and we could here people like being in the same room 🙃, but apart from that no noise detected. Also, the process of getting the keys was super smooth and quick, but, as the place was not in the same building, maybe a further, closer option can be considered in the future.

Negative: Had to go to a shady Indian “supermarket”. It just felt like if they have the keys do they also have spares? Could they steal my things when I’m not there?

Positive: The apartment is very well located- next to the Mall Arena and Plaza Espana. The metro is close (5 min) and there are a lot of shops and restaurants around. The apartment is exactly the same as in the pictures- spacious living room, 3 bedrooms ( 1 of them is with 2 levels bed and is very small but comfortable to sleep in), 2 bathrooms. Maybe some furniture should be refurbished and repaint, but overall it was ok. Big windows, high, good looking ceilings, there were availabe all needed facilities - even coffee and sugar and all other things was as described. The check-in and check- out was easy and even we used the option for late check out as our flight was in the evening- the host was very responsive. There is a good heating system- air conditioning, so probably in the summer will be ok also. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine in the fridge that was very kind. The place has very comfy vibe, picturesque view and our family spendt a wonderful and save time in Barcelona. For our next stay we will go to the same place. Thanks to the host again.

Negative: You have to take the key from other place- at about 1 km away from the apartment. It is very easy to find but if you come at night with suitcases and children as us it is not very comfortable. The host has sent a message with info before the stay with very detailed information, but it's my mistake I didn't read carefully. But it was not a problem- it is on the same street, very easy, just have to walk 10 min. Just a minor disclaimer.

Summary: Perfect stay, good location, very good apartment!

Negative: Bathroom door slid back and wouldnt stay closed. Building vibrated a bit, I guess its over the subway trains. Had to buy paper towels and toilet paper. These are all minor things - otherwise a great place
