Summary: Very nice host and a lovely little house with a fantastic garden. We really felt like home! Good kitchen and bathroom equipment, good beds, great shower. Guests should know that they are staying in the private home of the host, so be respectful. The only flaw is, that the bedrooms are at ground level facing the street, so you can open the windows at night only if the shutters are closed. With temperatures above 30 degrees as they were during the week of our stay, this might be a problem for some people who usually sleep with the windows open (like us). There is a good air condition though. Everything else was perfect and we had a great stay. We recommend everybody to rent a bike there, Bordeaux is ideal for cycling and like that you will be in the city center in no time.

Summary: This apartment turned out to be ideal for me. The tram line was a 10-minute walk, and a LeClerc supermarket about a 6-minute walk. It isn't very close to any of the area attractions, but that means it was very quiet and peaceful, especially out in the beautiful garden! Everything is accessible by bus or tram, however. The place itself is clean and bright, and the open floor plan makes it convenient for hosting. The a/c was amazing during the hot days of summer! The owner provides a notebook full of helpful information. A cleaning service is available, too.

Summary: Nicely decorated apartment in agreeable residential area, well equipped, sweet little garden, well connected to public transportation, large supermarket in walking distance, very nice and helpful landlady, communication in French only
