2 Bedroom House in Camaiore

Pretty detached stone house on two levels in the countryside of the ancient village of Camaiore (LU), with 7 beds + possible cots for newborns.
On the ground floor there is a spacious eat-in kitchen equipped with all comforts (refrigerator, freezer, electric oven, microwave oven, pod coffee machine), a comfortable dining room, a bright living room with fireplace and two sofas (one one is a double sofa bed), smart TV, a cozy corner for reading and relaxation.
On the mezzanine floor there is a large bathroom with shower, recently renovated.
On the first floor there is a lovely triple bedroom and a large double bedroom (which can easily accommodate a cot for newborns, provided free of charge).
The entire house is furnished in classic Tuscan style and complete with linens/towels (at an additional cost of €10.00 per person).
A free wifi line is active throughout the property.
The large garden is mainly grassy, ​​but there are two tiled areas where you can eat:
- a small porch adjacent to the kitchen, where there is a wood oven and a small table that can accommodate up to 6 people;
- a large barbecue area, with a large table that can accommodate up to 10-12 people.
In front of the porch there is a lovely and shaded portion of the garden perfect for a little relaxation and furnished with sun loungers.
In the large portion of the garden overlooking the mountains there is a large swimming pool measuring 6.00x4.00 m, approximately 1.50m deep.
The house is equipped with a large private parking, partially covered and as a whole it is secluded and very quiet, particularly suitable for families, even with small children.
Mandatory services to be paid in cash upon arrival with regular receipt:
- bed linen/towels at €10.00 per person;
- final cleaning €100.00.
Optional services (only on request):
- cot and high chair for children (free);
- cleaning during the stay (for a fee and upon request of the guests);
- home chef/tastings/cooking lessons (to be booked well in advance and subject to the chef's availability; price to be agreed directly with the chef).
Check-out is usually between 9:00 and 9:30: the cleaning lady will come to check the house and collect the keys. If guests wish to leave earlier, simply communicate the preferred time in advance.
Check-out after 9:30 is only possible if there is no direct change
of guests on the same day (unfortunately this rarely happens during
the rental season). However, we advise all guests to ask
for confirmation.
The house is located in a strategic point for visiting the Versilia coast, the beautiful Lucca, Pisa and Florence, the nearby Ligurian coast (Cinque Terre and Golfo dei Poeti), and the marble quarries of Massa and Carrara.
The house is also an excellent base for enjoying the unique experiences of the Viareggio Carnival (dates: 01-07-12-15-17-21/02/2026), Lucca Comics and Games (29/10/2025-02/11/2025, dates for 2026 still to be announced), the Puccini Festival for opera lovers (from 17/07/2026 to 05/09/2026), the La Prima Estate Festival in Lido di Camaiore (dates yet to be announced for 2026) and the Lucca Summer Festival (which will open on 04/07/2026 with the Jamiroquai concert, other dates still to be announced).

Summary: Lovely stay in a wonderfully characterful Tuscan house. Fairly easy access to Lucca and short walk to local village which has some great little restaurants.

Summary: We stayed at the house this summer for 10 days and ended up wishing we had booked at least two weeks. The house is lovely and features a lot of privacy. The pool is great and the amenities of the house as advertised. Francesca was great with her advice and about things to do and 0laces to eat and always available for questions. Definately looking forward to come back.

Summary: We've had a great week staying in the house. Lovely refreshing pool, terras, view, BBQ.. Plenty to visit nearby: the charming towncentre of Camaiore, the beach of Viareggio. A bit further, but easy reachable: Lucca, Pistoia, Pisa, La Spezia, Livorno, Riomaggiore... And Firenze of course! During the week of our stay, we were unlucky to deal with a leaking poolfilter. It couldn't be fixed during our stay. The filter worked ok, but we've had to fill by the pool twice ourselves when the waterlevel was under the skimmerinlets. Minor issue: absence of mosquito windows. Chris & Brigitte

Summary: Amazing 4 nights spent in a typical villetta away from the hectic areas of Tuscany, yet close to all amenities. Venue well equipped including outdoor area with BBQ for more tranquillity between friends. All was great, but if I have to comment on something, the place may need a slight uplift, perhaps a larger TV (28 inch is passee) and a stronger wifi connection as phones struggle to connect to 5G in that area.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in Camaiore. The house is very nice and matches the description exactly. But a hint can be useful: Because of its idyllic location next to a stream, we had an extraordinary amount of mosquitoes. Therefore we had to use mosquito repellent already in the afternoon. Of course, this was difficult in the pool, but otherwise it was no problem. But maybe the mosquito plague was also due to the fact that it had rained extensively at our arrival. The support by our host Francesca was excellent. She was always available at short notice and had a quick solution on hand when needed.

Summary: We spent two weeks in August in this lovely house. The pool was great for our kids. The house is spacious, the bathroom new with a great shower and the kitchen is very well-equipped. We enjoyed the barbecue and the pizza oven. The host Francesca gave us great tips for things to do and see.

Summary: My friends and me really enjoyed our stay at Francescas property. The beds were comfortable, the pool was very nice and in the kitchen we found everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the pizza oven and the barbecue on several occassions. In the area were some really nice restaurant and Francesca has a lot of good recommendations. We would definitly advise other friends to spend their holidays there.

Summary: We had a really good time staying at the villa. The location is excellent for visiting all the local sights, beaches and markets as well as being only a short drive to the nearby towns of Lucca and Pisa. Florence is an easy day trip. The beach is 20 minutes. You do need a car. We liked very much the quiet rural location of the house surrounded by fields and a few local houses, you feel part of the Italian country side and the wildlife is excellent. The facilities of the house are excellent, good bedrooms and living space inside and kitchen with a proper oven and fridge. Outside we enjoyed the pool every day. We used the BBQ area and the wood fired pizza oven to make delicious food. There are so many good restaurants recommended by Francesca that we did not have enough meal times to fit them all in. A faultless holiday..
