This unit faces out on to a lovely yard and woods only a short walk to Harriman Reservoir for hiking, cross county skiing, ice fishing, summer boating and swimming.

Enjoy 8 miles of crystal clear water, secluded beaches and picnic spots. rent a snow mobile near by or in the summer Jet skis and boats are avail just around the corner at High County Marina or right outside your door are miles of biking or hiking trails around the reservoir. Mount Snow is only a short drive and the town of Wilmington has both great restaurants and shopping so no need to cook unless you want to in your new kitchen.
Dogs can swim in the reservoir and able to be off leash providing they are well behaved. Enjoy eggs from our friendly chickens and feed our wild ducks on the pond. If you have a infant or toddler we have a porta crib and a high chair.
We love to go kayaking and paddle boarding and just walk to the water with our coffee in the morning.
You may get to see the local beaver along with other wild life including Eagles. Try your hand at fishing or check out other activities. Check out the local brewers and the Sat & Sunday Flea Market. This is the best of Southern VT making it an easy trip from Boston, New York and CT.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in Wilmington at this property. It was well equipped with everything that was needed to make our stay enjoyable. Jan ,our host was very accommodating. We would definitely keep this apt. in mind if we were to return to the area.

Summary: This was the second year we stayed at the Dragon Fly apartment. The place is quiet, private, and very well appointed with modern appliances, a great shower, and a comfortable bed. If you like quiet country settings, you'll love this place. It's a short walk to fish for rainbows in the Deerfield River or a short drive to beautiful Harriman Reservoir. It's less than 5 minutes from downtown Wilmington. The hosts are great--extremely accommodating and easy to contact, as they live in the floors above. They raise a few hens and you'll often find fresh eggs in the fridge on arrival! Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Summary: The unit was incredibly clean and super cute. It has everything you could possibly need ( fridge, stovetop, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker). The location was perfect to get to and from downtown Wilmington (3 mile drive) and to explore other areas such as Bennington and Manchester. Nice, easy walk to the reservoir each morning with our dog. Jan had dog bowls, treats, dog towel, dog blanket, dog toys and dog shampoo available for us to use. We were treated to fresh eggs from their chickens, as well as fresh banana bread. The landscape is beautiful and there is a lovely fire pit that was all set up and ready for us to use. Unfortunately, the black flies and other bugs were too bad for us to be able to enjoy. Jan was accommodating and communicative and the unit was beautiful, clean and efficient. Highly recommend.

Summary: Overall it was a very lovely apartment, very cleanly, and access to the game room was a huge plus. We were however; very disappointed with the mattress as it was extremely firm and uncomfortable.

Summary: Our hosts, Jan and Rich, were gracious and accommodating. The property is exactly as listed and location was excellent with proximity to Mount Snow and the town of Wilmington. Jan was especially hospitable to our dog Charlie which was greatly appreciated. Their rental is a perfect place to stay when visiting the slopes and beautiful Southern Vermont. We had delicious meals at Alpenglow and Folly, and wish we could've taken the Village Roost home with us.

Summary: We brought our dog and she had the most fun running around the yard every day and during our hike around the reservoir. Jan was a wonderful, friendly host who checked in to make sure we had everything we needed while also giving us our space. She also made the place very dog friendly - already with dog beds, bowls, treats, etc when we arrived! We also enjoyed using the fire pit, grill, and game room too! It had everything we were looking for. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful, nature filled getaway.

Summary: What a fantastic stay! Pictures don't do this place justice. Had everything we needed to stay in and lounge or go for a nice walk in the nearby woods. Enjoyed meals at Alpenglow, Jezebels and Dots. Many places closed Monday and Tuesday but still a few options available. Loved the fresh eggs from the chickens and the private fire pit. Would definitely stay again!
