Positive: This will probably be the most instagramable place you stay all year. Beautiful whiteboard house on a pier overlooking the fjord. The pier itself is covered in kittiwakes and great for birdwatching. Very stylish, light filled interior. We were there in midsummer but I imagine it would also be very cosy in winter. Good well stocked kitchen with lots of pans and utensils but also basic ingredients like spices etc. Good bathroom. This place was rebuilt by two families and is a real labour of love. A lovely place to spend a few days exploring the surrounding area.
Negative: A few people have mentioned the stairs. They’re steep but if you’re reasonably fit, they shouldn’t be a problem. I’ve stayed in places with far steeper steps. However, it was odd that there was no storage space at all in the bedrooms. The main bedroom had a huge dresser in it which was entirely taken up with random objects - pots of paint, Christmas decorations, screwdrivers. The second bedroom appeared to be the same. There was also no hairdryer available. Given that, even in summer, it was abut 8 degrees, this again seemed a bit odd.

Positive: Amazing location above water with views to the water and mountains! We could hear the waves and it was such a menirsble stormy night with high wind outside, but warm and cozy inside.
Negative: It was perfect!

Positive: Nice clean small house on the fisherman bay. It has almost everything for good vacation. Wooden deck around the house is a very nice addition.
Negative: 1. No freezer, only small fridge. Not enough place inside for several people for several days. At least for summer season. 2. If you travel with elderly people - stairway to second flour is pretty steepy, may not fit for every person.
Summary: Nice place on the far far north. Tundra all around with many mushroom's and wild berries. Raindeers!
