The entire lower unit of this duplex is located on the Wolf river channel in downtown Shawano, with Huckleberry harbor next door is available for lodging with a 2 night minimum booking. Home is located directly across the street from the Shawano County Sheriff's Department. The upstairs unit is currently being remodeled. Inside garage parking for one car and one car driveway parking available on right side of driveway. Access to Shawano Lake via channel/river by boat is available. Back yard available for fire pit and grilling out. Internet available, there is YouTube TV with local channels available and smart VCR available so you can watch your own Netflix or other accounts. There are two twin beds in rear private bedroom with bathroom, full kitchen, dining room, sitting room with electric fireplace, sleeper sofa in common fireplace family room, and queen bed in front bedroom. Also another bathroom with stand up shower. All bedding and towels provided as are dishes and utensils. No automatic dishwasher is available. Children are not allowed in hallway/Stairway area in the entry hall of house unless entering and exiting with adult supervision. Clothes washer and dryer are available on site in basement. Summary: We were happy to be able to walk to everything we needed in Shawano including the stubborn brothers brewery. The place was spacious and it was really nice to have two bathrooms. Host was very responsive.

Summary: Communication was great and it was clean. A few quirks like you would expect with a converted duplex. Best thing was the back view! Location to town was amazing, however, only one parking spot added some slight difficulty since had three cars coming. All in all very satisfied!

Summary: Was pleased with the property & easy check in. Did have some issues locking the door off the kitchen, but eventually got it. Would rent again. Very clean & good location.

Summary: Was in town for a retirement party and also enjoyed Twig's and Stubborn Brothers. Local shops in walking distance. Weather and plans didn't accommodate, but the fire pit and available firewood would have been perfect for enjoying the evenings along the channel.

Summary: Unit could use some drapes in front bedroom to keep out the sunrise. Bathrooms need more outlets and mirrors. Largest bedroom doesn’t have a mirror.

Summary: We were very pleased with our stay. Very spacious rooms, quiet location in the evening. The proximity to everything was great! The view is pretty overlooking the river. Basic kitchen as was picutured in the information about the property. If we ever visit the area again we would be happy to stay here. Pet friendly is a real plus.
