Positive: The staff, location, room - everything was fantastic! The staff couldn’t do enough to help you. The location is perfect to walk to most parts of the city. The room was brilliant, very clean and so comfortable.

Positive: Staff was very kind and gentle. Helped us in various siuations. Beakfast was rich and varied. Afternoon coffee or tea with sweets for free. Located in the old town. Lots of restaurants around.

Positive: Lucien Hanoi Lakeside was like a home away from home. From the moment we stepped inside we were welcomed and made to feel that we were more than guests - more like family. The staff looked after us and took genuine care of us. We are a senior couple and they did everything to ensure that we were safe at all times, even ordering a taxi for us when we were coming back from an outing to ensure we weren’t overcharged. The hotel is perfectly positioned in the Old Quarter, one street back from Hoan Kiem Lake. The facilities are very good and there is an excellent restaurant in the hotel. We had a room with a separate living area, which made for a very comfortable stay. I would particularly like to mention Luna, Dana, Anna, Teddy and Frank who went out of their way to ensure that our stay would be a memorable one. We highly recommend this establishment.

Positive: What an amazing property this is. Our room was magnificent, the location is prime in the old quarter, and perhaps most importantly the staff is truly amazing. They always greeted us when we came or went from the hotel, asked us how our day had been, asked if there was anything we needed, and made us feel very special. Absolutely fantastic service. They even gathered on the hotel steps when we departed to waive goodbye to us. If you want to feel comfortable and pampered in the middle of a very chaotic city, this is your place.
Negative: Could not have been more satisfied.

Positive: We loved this hotel, location is spot on. Right in the old quarter, great shopping, many fab eateries, bars, coffee shops all around. Hotel and rooms were spotless.  There was a hearty breakfast with numerous options, you could not go hungry. Food was always at the right temp (not luke warm) which was a bonus. Afternoon tea was a bonus treat too. Our classic room had a very comfy bed with 2 pillows & powerful shower. It was a bit on the cozy side so I wished we'd booked a larger room but I think the hotel was full so for 3 nights it was fine. Happy hour at the rooftop bar was again spot on. We visited in rainy season & it did rain quite a bit, but the bar & jacuzzi were always open. Hoping the hotel can make more of the rooftop area going forward as the view over the city &  of the lake from the hotel's restaurant & rooftop bar is amazing. A big shout out to the front office staff who go above and beyond to help you and to make your stay most enjoyable. Grace was extra special, so polite, kind and respectful you easily warm to her as soon as you meet her. Another shout out to the hotel porters who were always around to assist with luggage & help book taxis, so friendly & chatty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would give this hotel 10/10.
