Summary: Cosy & warm with gas & electric heaters. Lots of artwork adding to the character with plenty of choice of books & games. Good location on main road with walk to shops, cafes & supermarket. We slept in middle bedroom to avoid road noise but not a lot to concern us other than a few trucks at night. Otherwise quiet area. Nice open living kitchen area. Unfortunately dining chairs were rickety but I’m sure Lucy will have them fixed. Loved the 2 rocking chairs! Need to be tall to reach plates, glasses & mugs in overhead cupboards. We took our own blankets as we don’t like quilts but should have taken a sheet as well as no top sheet , just quilt in a cover. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of throw rugs around the cottage. Take care near front gate as uneven concrete makes a tripping hazard. Bathroom very small (1 person at a time) but handy to bedrooms & there is a 2nd toilet in laundry. Clean new kitchen with good size fridge and full oven/stove. Locals very friendly and pub down near bridge was a good meal & friendly service. Well stocked supermarket & next door to cottage there is facials & massage for added relaxation. We stayed 3 nights at the cottage. It was very homely & Lucy was very quick to reply when we contacted her a couple of times.

Summary: Very tastefully decorated cottage with ample amenities. Bottle of wine in fridge was a nice touch. Very good value for money, much better than a hotel room with 4 walls and a bed!

Summary: Very good street presentation. In town centre but quiet aspect. Access to house well organised. Welcome drinks appreciated. Spacious interior and bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. Good size bathroom. However the shower grouting at the base lets the appearance and feel down. Woodwork around door has not had final paint coat. Need to ensure that the shower door is well inside the cubicle or the room floods. Attention to these small things would make the place even more appealing.

Summary: Was a very comfortable home, with plenty of space to have our friends for dinner. Fully equipped kitchen for our needs . Loved that there was Foxtel, but needed to have the sports package for us ! We will be booking again for our next trip in May , so hopefully it’s been added ? Was great that it was so central, and next to Spill the Beans for our morning coffee. Thank you for the complimentary bottle of wine which we enjoyed. Trish
