8 Bedroom House in Birchdale, Grey Eagle

Located central to the US and central to Minnesota, The Olive Branch has been the choice for many groups gathering together. The Olive Branch property is located on a small semi-private lake. Being the only group on the property you will have privacy and total seclusion. We have lush nature with walking paths and an expansive yard with plenty of room for activities. The renovated chicken barn down by the lake has a wet bar, half bath and fire pit outside. The pontoon, swim dock and two canoes are all included in the reservation. The house sleeps 22 people with the horseshoe-shaped house providing both places to gather together or have quiet time and conversation. So you can relax once you get there, we strive to provide many of the items we feel you might need. We supply everything from boat motor gasoline to the coffee and syrup on the coffee bar. This includes charcoal & lighter fluid; hand & dish towels; bath, hand & dish soap; bottled water in a water cooler and firewood. All you will need to bring is your own bath towels, food and beverages.
VACATIONS: Cruise the lake by pontoon or canoe; catch fish; dangle your toes in the lake; share stories around a campfire; be surrounded by lush nature; roam the large yard & play games.

Summary: Plenty of space, private nooks for reading and relaxation. The beds are comfortable with plentiful pillows and nice linens. Plenty of seats for eating and visiting. Highly recommend for your next family get together.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at The Olive Branch! We celebrated my mom's 80th birthday with my entire family. We had 21 of us and there was enty of room for all of us. Our favorite part was the private lake! It was great to be able to go out on the pontoon or go canoeing and only see a small boat or two and some canoes or kayaks. We loved all of the amenities and supplies provided. Marla was a wonderful host and was very great at answering any of our questions. We definitely had a weekend of memories that we will always treasure!

Summary: We had 18 people and we fit perfectly. Room for a couple more if my nephews would have been able to make it. Caught plenty of fish, enough yard space for outside games and running around. Took out the pontoon everyday and the kayaks. Only down fall no beach for kids to play on but we went to cedar lake 10 minutes away and had a blast two days. Lots of weeds by the dock but some of the kids didn't care and swam anyways. Also getting down to the dock is kinda steep so not ideal for elderly. Loved our stay, plenty of room, peaceful even with all of us there. Love all the amenities provided it really helped not having to pack as many items. Us adults didn't realize how much our souls and minds needed this to reboot, relax, and rejuvenate. Truly great!!! Thanks a ton.

Summary: We had 14 adult friends gather to enjoy the outdoors and the company. Being directly on the lake with the boat and canoes was ideal. The huge yard provided a great space for lawn games while the neat outdoor campfire setup served as a relaxing way to end the evening.

Summary: Our family had a wonderful time here. Loved waking up with beautiful views of the lake. Enjoyed the evening campfires with our grandkids doing s’mores and catching fireflies. Lots of fishing, canoeing and swimming off the swim platform. Many memories were made here. Thank you!

Summary: My family and I were celebrating the 60th birthday of one of our members. Olive branch worked out really well for our group, with many bedrooms, dining areas, and large living areas to spread out in. The kitchen was very well stocked and easy to use. Bathrooms were fine. The view from most windows was spectacular! We enjoyed a beautiful snowfall while there, and the setting was gorgeous! We would enjoy a summertime stay at Olive Branch and another winter stay as well.
