Negative: The floors in our chalet were a little slippy. There were very little cleaning products in our kitchen for washing up. Other than that, it was beautiful.

Positive: Lovely walks and peaceful area. The pub/restaurant was really good nice food and good selection they even helped us accommodate for a special birthday. The ladies at the spa were really helpful too
Negative: The accommodation we booked is not what we were given . Lusty beg blames booking.com and booking.com blames them. (We wanted 2 double beds bit the rooms were actually a doubke and a twin) The 'ensuite' was unusable as we couldn't actually get in the shower due to hiw it was set out and lack of space (none of us are overweight or particular large, I had no chance at 7 months pregnant) The hot water ran out very quickly due to a small tank which made showering difficult. And overall the accommodation was a bit run down particularly the kitchen area The reception staff were not helpful or accommodating . The other staff were much better but very slow service at the bar during the daytime. The spa had a nice pool but it was a bit cold and no sauna/steam room

Negative: It was a special birthday for my partner, I had called them to please put a candle on a cake or dessert for her. I also checked it would be done when I booked in,and again with the waitress. All was great the first evening. Dinner was nice staff were friendly. All good, until the next evening of the birthday. Again I checked all was according to plan. Waitress said she would look after everything. We ordered our dinner. Rank, worst food I have ever tasted. Bland, not good. Must be different cheff. I let it go because I didn't want to spoil the evening. Asked the waitress for the surprise. Waited half hour no sign of cake or dessert. Went to the counter had to wait in que staff not capable of serving drinks or food at this stage. They told me they were cooking something special and it would take another ten minutes. I said it was OK. Waited another twenty minutes. Went up again, spoke with head of kitchen ,she said she knew nothing about it. Spoke with manager was absolutely useless. No idea of anything. Had to ask him to apologies to my partner. If he worked for me he would be sacked straight away with his attitude. I asked to speak with the owner. As of yet no response from them. Very poor. I won't be returning again. Poor management and ownership......

Negative: Had to wait for almost an hour to get the ferry across and watch people jump the queue whilst the entire situation was completely mis managed by a lack lustre teenager. Once on the island felt like second rate citizens compared to the wedding guests who clearly get ranked higher in the pecking order as weddings are where the money is made. Poor supplies in bathroom… other than one bottle of shower gel. Could hear other guests snoring loudly at night. A barking dog in the room below. Pool dirty. Changing rooms stuffy and cramped. Overall not anywhere near a 4 star experience.
Summary: Disappointing given it is supposedly a 4 star spa resort.
