4 Bedroom House in The Strand, Manhattan Beach
Welcome to resort beach living. Close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Newly renovated 4,000 square feet (370 sq. m) open and airy floor plan. A massive renovation in 2023, including five new bathrooms, brand new oak flooring, lighting, kitchen, furniture, etc. It's gorgeous. Four spacious bedrooms with large closets and private baths are upstairs, while downstairs features a living room, dining room, bathroom, and open kitchen/great room. The kitchen features a large island with a bar that is great for entertaining. The kitchen has top-of-the-line appliances; Viking range, Thermador double ovens, microwave, two sinks for kitchen prep, double huge GE Monogram refrigerator, KitchenAid dishwasher, walk-in pantry, and butler's pantry for entertaining. Most homes near the beach have little or no backyard. Our yard is extra wide, which allowed us to include a large backyard with a pool that is ideal for entertaining, as you will see in the photos. A large sliding door from the great room opens out to the back yard combining into a large, inviting entertaining area for socializing, swimming, watching TV, eating, and BBQ'ing.
Downstairs is a four-car garage with bicycles, boogie boards, a wagon, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. We will leave all our bikes, surfboards, paddleboards, and room for two cars at your disposal. There is also plenty of street parking.
It is a short walk (8 minutes) to the beach, and when you return, you can rinse off in the outdoor shower. And take a dip in the jacuzzi or jump in the pool. We take our bikes or scooters at least once a week to one of the many local restaurants, about a 15-minute flat walk - perfect for kids or adults. There is a chip trail across the street for running or walking and a park at the local school one block away with a soccer field and playground. Tennis, golf, and other parks are nearby as well.
