IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Summary: We had a fantastic time at the Hideaway. It was the perfect base to escape to: peaceful location perfectly placed for access to both hiking and beach days; clean and modern property with all the amenities we would need; stunning views over the mountains. Andy was also a great, friendly host providing recommendations and help whenever needed.

Summary: Outstanding and stunning !! The property both inside and out is as exactly shown in the photos. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to stay. Welcoming bars are restaurant in the village where you can mix at ease with the locals.

Summary: Nick and Andy created a truly beautiful hideaway where one can relax and forget about the world. The house has several places that become your favorite place throughout the stay. From the furniture to the ceramic tea cups, everything is done and placed with care and a love for detail. The bed is facing the sunrise in the morning, bathing the Mountains in red and gold.. so don't forget to leave the curtains open for the beautiful sight. The communication with the hosts is easy as they are both very friendly and caring. Sorry we didn't stay longer. Defenitly 5*, I totally recommend the place and look forward to be back one day.

Summary: The property is clean, comfortable, luxurious and well equipped. The coffee machine, ice maker in the freezer and Alexa with outdoor speakers are a lovely touch. The parking on the listing is misleading. There is an off road parking space 1 minute from the property - true. Unfortunately it seems that is shared with several other properties meaning you're unlikely to be able to park in it. On the day we arrived the closest we could park was 1000ft away up a hill as the roads were closed due to a festival. On the second day we tried to park in the space and found someone else in it. We aren't expecting driveways, we know what Cypriot villages are like but if parking is advertised we expect to be able to use it. The property is not easy to find using Google Maps and we damaged our hire car going up the wrong road. Written directions would be great, otherwise stop when in Vouni and contact the host. A member of our party sustained an injury in the pool on our second day. The parking location rendered the property inaccessible which meant we had to stay elsewhere for the remainder of our time in Cyprus. If parking is important for you as it was for us (we were at the end of a 2 week holiday and had a lot of luggage, easy loading/unloading was important), then I can't recommend this property.

Summary: Everything about our short stay was fabulous even though we didn't bother to check out the local taverna's etc. In three days we never left the confines of the property because there was no need to do so. Generally speaking Vouni as a village is not suitable for the infirm or people with walking difficulties. Reminded me of Clovelly without the donkeys.

Summary: This property is fantastic from the decor and overall finish to the hosts. Whilst Vouni is a quiet village, there are still nice restaurants and bars to visit on an evening with lots of friendly locals buzzing about, including Andy & Nick. In the day you also have the option of a beach and wineries. The accommodation itself is also beyond comfortable and stylish making lounging around a very pleasant experience. Both the indoor & outdoor space is well considered and thoughtful. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Cyprus.

Summary: There is little I can add to what has already been said. From getting the keys to very reluctantly handing them back our stay at the hideaway was perfect. It’s hard to put into words how friendly and helpful Nic and Andy are and how simply beautiful the property is. We are already looking at booking our return trip.
