6 Bedroom Villa in Gandia, Valencia

Traditional Spanish villa in tranquil settings with large private gardens and large heart shaped pool with two large sun deck . Many terraces overlooking orange groves and mountains with panoramic views. 10 minute drive from the blue flag beach of Gandia, with shops, restaurants and bars, 10 minutes drive from Barx, 3 minutes drive from Marchuquera village with lovely Spanish restaurants & bars all run by locals , food is delicious & very cheap. Has lovely little Church with a very friendly congregation . Mass then a beer in the cafe next door always goes down well with visitors .Mass 11.15 Sunday mornings. Car essential, parking within villa property for 5 cars. Property completely walled so very secure. Recently all new kitchen , bathrooms in 2020 all new windows , doors & screens all outdoor furniture which inc dinning table & chairs ( sits 14 persons) .large L shaped sofas & sun loungers , 2 fatboy bean bags , two hanging basket chairs,pergola with sofas & tables. New beds & bedroom furniture . All new kitchen ware ( completely stocked with food processor, blender, smoothie maker , three toasty sandwich makers . Toasters , dulce gusto coffee machine . Coffee percolators . New in 2017 one additional downstairs double bedroom with patio doors directly on to patio with n suite & A/C. ( suitable for elderly with mobility issues as Ramps were installed to access & exit areas everywhere downstairs ( disabled toilet seat also available on request .The A/C is in All the bedrooms & the upstairs office, the bedrooms also have in addition to A/C for anyone who doesnt like A/ C , separate ceiling fans. Great for cycling & hill walking. The restaurant on the square in Bars does the best Pizza ever, I would highly recommend it. There are lots of games, DVD,s & books for your use. There is a hair dryer but bring your own beach towels. Towels not to be removed from villa . Cool box & pic-nick basket in kitchen for use at the beach. Two Fridge freezers & separate bottle fridge .

Summary: This was a perfect setting for our family get together for my husbands 70th birthday celebrations. The grandchildren very much enjoyed the pool and we all loved the relaxed and spacious villa, safe and extensive garden and wonderful Mountain views.

Summary: The house and its surroundings were very nice. The road next to the Vila has traffic and it’s quite noisy even at night, but weren’t bothered too badly. We were a full house (14 people) and the house was definitely created for big groups except when it comes to the sleeping situation. The house has two bedrooms with air conditioning and the rest of the bedrooms has fans. People couldn’t sleep from the August heat in the bedrooms with just a fan. Otherwise we had a wonderful time and we would definitely come back (especially with more air conditioning)! The communication with owner and key holder was good.

Summary: The house is well equipped: kitchen is big with 2 fridges, a good oven, a good dishwasher and many other small appliances Vast living room although we spent most of our time outside Wifi was efficient enough All rooms have ceiling fans. Swimming pool was key in the heat we enjoyed it a lot!! A few things to keep in mind: only 2 bedrooms have AC the other don’t and there are no real shades/blinds in most of them making it tricky to keep them not too hot. Many wasps outside - be equipped in case they sting you. The house’s location is perfect: amazing beaches nearby, very easy to get to Valencia or Xativa (which we recommend!). The region is really gorgeous.

Summary: We had a wonderful week in this beautiful villa. The rooms were spotless and facilities fantastic. One of the best things about this villa was the multitude of places to sit - on the terrace, under the pergola, under a huge umbrella or just next to the pool. There was always somewhere shady to sit. The fans in the rooms were useful in keeping the temperature down but ideally air conditioning in all rooms would rate this villa 5*. At times the heat in August is unbearable for nighttime. The check in process was easy and I could always contact very quickly. We needed to see the doctor whilst there and was recommended the hospital where the care we received was excellent. Please be aware that this is a very Spanish area - hardly anyone speaks English. Make Google Translate your friend! The locals are very friendly, and were helpful to us when we needed it. Wonderful villa and would definitely book again if we re-visit this stunning part of Spain. Summary: It’s a beautiful house very nice pool, We had a wonderful holidays at the Villa. The house is very private and has a pretty kitchen. I suggest to install three more air conditioners on the others bedrooms it was fians but I wasn’t enough it was very hot. The others bedrooms had air conditioning it was wonderful!. Summary: We had our entire family come visit Gandia from Chicago. It had everything that we needed and we enjoyed cooling off in the pool when we weren’t exploring the beautiful beaches and the town of Gandia. We loved it!

Summary: We had a lovely stay with friends and family to celebrate a big birthday. Location was lovely set in rural area near Gandia. Villa was very well equipped and exceptionally clean, however with air con in only 2 bedrooms sleeping was exceptionally difficult. Also be aware that there is a wasp problem. Whilst we were nervous to start with and a couple of our party did get stung it didn't detract too badly from the beautiful pool and garden. Great location for seeing other places in the area.
