Escape to this stunning 4 bedroom retreat only an hour from the upper west side in NYC. Located on a sprawling 2.5 acre lot this 2500 square foot house is designed by acclaimed designer James Mobley and has everything you could ever want! Feel your shoulders drop as you approach the secluded home up a gravel driveway hidden in its own private paradise surrounded by stunning gardens designed by Camilla Design. Fully furnished with 4 bedrooms, 3 with queen beds and the 4th with a twin bed and a trundle that pops up for another twin. Perfect for 2 kids sharing a room. 2 and a half bathrooms with master suite having its own en suite lux bathroom with Jacuzzi and walk in shower. Two , yes two living rooms, one with vaulted ceiling and another formal living room to read or relax in. Impress your friends by serving a meal from the modern fully equipped kitchen in the gorgeous separate restoration hardware dining room perfect for entertaining. There is a separate laundry room with state of the art washer and dryer for your convenience as well as central A/C and heating. The house even has a steam humidity system in the winter to make sure the air is perfect.
There is a deck off the kitchen with a gas grill perfect for grilling with its own dedicated gas line so no need to ever feel like you will run out of gas.
Five minute drive to Whole Foods and the Danbury Mall makes shopping super easy and its only a 10 minute drive to the next town of Ridgefield which has amazing shops, theatre and restaurants. You won't want to leave once you are there!
Please note that patio furniture will be put away as of October 15 every year and put out again as of April 15 every year due to snow.

Summary: This was my third visit to this wonderful house in the Connecticut countryside. I am always comfortable because the house is so well maintained and has a beautiful garden. Matt is responsive to all needs. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing in home meals. It is only a 15 minute drive to Old Salem Farm. I will be back!!!!

Summary: I stayed here over the holidays with my family and we had a fantastic experience. Matt was extremely communicative and a true pleasure to deal with. The house was beautifully designed, spacious and clean. The kitchen was well-equipped with anything you could need for cooking, and a great outdoor deck with grill! Overall it was a great experience and I can't recommend it enough!

Summary: I've stayed in many places and I think this was not only the best VRBO, but better than our own house! The sheets are super soft, the cookware is better than ours at home, the house is super clean and spacious. Matt was very communicative and helpful - including mailing back my jacket I left there! If you want to really relax I can't recommend it enough!

Summary: This was my second visit to this well appointed and charming house. It is located in a very pretty wooded area and has a gorgeous garden. I found it to be convenient to Ridgefield, North Salem and Danbury. Overall it is just super and enjoyed by me and my friend for cozy dinners at home and for exploring hiking trails and horse properties. The host Matt is the best!!!

Summary: A secluded experience, very quiet house, extremely well designed!! Owners were very generous in leaving us wine, olive oil, nuts, many kind of tea and coffee capsules. Every instruction was very clear and concise Definitely recommended!!!

Summary: We had an excellent stay. Our hosts were outstanding and very gracious. The house is very comfortable and the photos are a great depiction of the property. A very clean, well stocked, comfortable private property. Our family of four had plenty of space. My husband enjoyed the deck area. We were close enough to New York City to catch a Broadway musical and close enough to the United States Military Academy to return our son to school. We would definitely stay again!!!
