Come and stay at our 1890 circa historical cottage. At the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges National Park. Lovingly restored with all the luxury extras of a hotel stay. Feed the parrots, spot an echidna or pat a kangaroo. We cater for romantic getaways with our King bed suite and bedding.
Don't forget our ample, delicious breakfast hamper full of goodies that we top up depending on your length of stay. A bottle of sparkling and chocolates on arrival.
Or stay with the family with 7 beds and 3 bedrooms beautifully decorated and with all the amenities to make your stay perfect in every way.
Totally relaxed atmosphere in our acres of property. Sit on our Queenslander verandah on the restored Jacobean lounges and listen to the beautiful birds singing in our extensive lush gardens. Or eat breakfast under the 100 year old kumquat tree. Read a book in the super comfy egg chair.
You can light the chiminea in our fern garden and sit in spaghetti chairs with a glass of wine or a hot chocolate and a snuggly blanket. Our Coonara fire place can be lit for extra warmth in the lounge.
The claw foot bath in the ensuite is deep enough for 2 and every detail from fluffy robes and bath sheet towels to bath salts and bubble bath.
Quality extras like beautiful soaps, and body wash.
The cottage is decorated in an antique farmhouse style. With immaculate finishes throughout the home. The beds are brand new Sealy mattresses with fluffy doonas and hotel pillows and linen. All newly bought beds too.
We live on the other side of the garden acre and will always respect your privacy except to answer questions or to bring more food or ammenities for your stay. We are very flexible and friendly aiming to make your stay as relaxing as possible.
We are only 10 mins from Berwick or Emerald. Just 15 mins from the Dandenong Ranges. Mornington Peninsula is a great day out as we are on the Eastern side of Melbourne. If you’re looking for romance or a family getaway. Cottesmore is the place for you.
You will be amazed at the incredible gardens and perfectly renovated large cottage. With all new comfortable furniture to enjoy the country views.

Summary: We had a great stay. Check was easy, the house was Beautiful, plenty of room for the family and for my wife and her bridesmaids to get ready the day of the wedding. Beds were comfy, kids loved exploring all the nick naks and the garden. Highly recommend to stay if you can. Such a beautiful propert.

Summary: We had a lovely two night stay at this well appointed and extremely well presented cottage. Even though we had the wettest of weekends we were well placed to visit nearby Berwick and also the delightful general store. We’ll definitely be back!

Summary: I stayed at 17 Salford street and l found this beautiful house was peaceful relaxing and beautifully decorated it was a wonderful place to go to for a complete break for a full get away for a few days its old world charm mixed with an instant feeling of welcome when we walked through the front door was great.I highly recommend it our hostess was Nathalia and she welcomed us in on the day a lovely girl to deal with thank you so much.

Summary: This weekend away was what we needed as a busy working family!The property was very clean, comfortable and opulently furnished!!
